Stroma washed and dressed into a pair of skinny jeans and a plain t-shirt and then went downstairs for some food that she didn't really feel like eating, but if she had nothing then Carlos would get suspicious. She sighed, leaning against the sink as she waited for her toast to cook.

Ash was getting ready to go out, he was wearing a light blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, a pair of black jeans and converse. He finished up and did whatever boys do before jogging down the stairs, saying goodbye to his mum before grabbing his keys and leaving the house.

Stroma really hadn't been looking forward to the next party that Carlos had, but this was supposed to be a 'small get together', in his words though. She'd seen Gus a few times after the last one and everything had definitely gone very much back to normal but something seemed out of place, obviously.

eleanor had been waiting there all day. it was her favourite band who were playing and so she had skipped school for the day so that she could be at the front of the queue. she was wearing a long black shirt that came down just over her bum, with knee high socks and her creepers, with a flower crown in her hair, her make up bright and vibrant.

carlos was just setting everything up, he put some music on and got himself a drink. already a few people were there but surprisingly gustav wasn't. gustav was on his way, he was wearing a muse shirt with his skinny jeans and doc martens. he had spoken to stroma a couple of times since but nothing too major. he didn't know what to do.

Ash arrived, found a parking space in the very busy car park and got out of his car. He walked to the queue and waited in line for a while. Eventually he managed to get into the building and then he did whatever you do at concerts.

Stroma sighed a bit as she heard the music from downstairs. She quickly got dressed. She was wearing a pair of tatty denim shorts over some tights, a flowy light pink cropped blouse and a pair of flat shoes. She did her hair and went downstairs, secretly hoping to see Gustav again, he wasn't there yet.

eleanor was already in, and stood at he front, excited. the support act would be on first and then her favourite band, haim, would be on. she didn't really want to be here alone but coming with ash would have been awkward, seeing as she was now convinced they had slept together. she ran her fingers through her hair, biting her bottom lip.

gustav walked into the house, saying hello to a few people, and then gave carlos that weird hang grab/hug thing that guys do. "alright pal?" he smiled and went into the kitchen to get himself a drink. his face lit up a little when he saw stroma there, glad she wasn't gonna hide away for the entire night. "hey strome.."

Ash was also at the front, waiting for haim to perform. He Looked around the room at all the people, then his eyes landed on someone who looked suspiciously like Eleanor. He wasn't sure if he should go over or not, but him, being the awkward guy that he was, decided he might as well. He walked over and tapped her on the shoulder. "Um, hi."

Stroma was sitting on the kitchen counter, her legs crossed over and a glass of water in her hand, she had her mind set on not getting too drunk. "Oh, hey. " she smiled at him. "You alright?" she asked, sipping her water slowly.

"why don't you go and stay at a friends house if you're not enjoying this? carlos can't make you stay here and you don't look like you're having a very good time." he shrugged and took a sup from his drink. "no it's fine uhm.. it's might fault just as much as yours."

I want to have tons of friends who I can run to and I just want people to enjoy being around me, but no one does." she sighed a bit. "Oh, I'm not drunk, I'm just over emotional."

Ash stopped talking and watched her watching haim, she looked so happy and he almost, weirdly wished that he had made her that happy and not her favourite band, but that would never happen. She'd never like him, he was too old for her, not to mention awkward.

Stroma looked at him, she bit her bottom lip gently. "I know, but I don't want to pass everything onto everyone else.2 she felt a confusing sense of de ja vu as she spoke. "So, yeah." she placed her hand on his wrist gently.

eleanor danced around and sang to all the lyrics, enjoying herself completely. the night was perfect now, and she really didn't mind that ash was there. after all, it was her who had invited him along in the first place. she tucked her hair behind her ears and carried on dancing. eventually, the gig came to an end, and one of the girls through her guitar pick, and eleanor caught it. she squealed, holding onto it.

gustav shook his head. "stroma you shouldn't think like that. it's not often I let people talk to me, i'm not very emotion-y, so take advantage of it." he moved a little closer and sighed quietly. he really couldn't resist her. he liked her, he did, and there was no denying it any more. he kissed her cheek and shrugged. "I want you to know that I genuinely enjoyed that night." he said quietly.

Ash was enjoying himself as well. He grinned when she caught the guitar pick and smiled at her, not sure if she wanted to speak to him or not, or if she hated him or not. When everyone was clearing out, he left with her. "Do you need a ride back home?" he asked her.

Stroma froze as his lips touched her cheek, the feeling lingered there for a second and she didn't say a thing. "Do you- um, do you remember anything that happened? Honestly Gus, I won't be mad or anything, I ust want to know." she whispered.
