Family was more important than anything else and the rest of the tribe seemed to be attacking well, he enemy would soon wave their white flag and admit defeat. He nudged at Connor with his nose and growled.

Gabbie gasped and practically screamed when Sasha agreed, leaping over the sofa to her and pulling her into her arms, holding her tight. If Connor could see her now he would probably tell her she was stupid for forgiving her so easilgm but Gabbie understood Sasha had her reasons and everything happened for a reason. She needed to test the waters with her powers anyway. They'd just come out a little stronger than she wanted to. "Well you're my best friend, I wouldn't want anyone else by my side. Also, I need your fashion advice for when I start looking for a dress." She giggled, shuffling closer diving her hand into the chocolates and munching on a few, she licked her fingers clean before flipping through the pages. "I know it's exciting. Also we can get you a cute bride of honour dress. The theme is burgundy."

"fuck you," she spat as she pressed her hand against his face and she sucked all of his power from him, forcing him to shift into his human form and fall limply to the ground - dead. Her eyes flashed black as she shoved his body off her and got up to her feet, looking over at Dymitrius, "we need to go now, I'll be fine." she said, ignoring the deep wound on her arm.

Sasha truly wanted to be happy for Gabbie and if that meant forcing a smile right now while she spoke about the wedding then so be it. She was ecstatic to be maid of honour but she knew that Connor would likely pick Dymitrius to be the best man. "oh my gosh we are going to go wedding dress shopping!!" she squealed with excitement, laughing a little at the mention of helping with fashion advice, "well white is your colour after all so I'm sure you will pick something gorgeous." Munching away on the chocolates you wouldn't think that anything was going on only ten minutes away. "Burgundy is going to be so flattering! Means I'll need to top up on the tan just a little but it'll be worth it."

Gabbie grinned and nodded enthusiastically. She had some ideas in mind but trying them on would really seal the deal for her. Something classy and over the top. Plus not even mentioning all the accessories and stuff. Her mother had a savings account for both her and her brother, for when each of them got married which meant Gabbie could have the wedding of her dreams without it being too much of a burden to her and Connors financial situation. "I'm so excited girl, and then me and Connor get to think about a nine ,on too! Never mind the fact being married finally means-" but she was cut off by a knock and then D and Luna leaping through the door and she practically fainted at the sight. Her poor man in front of her, wounded. He promised he'd be careful. Tears sprung to her eyes and she knelt down in front of him, wiping her tears away quickly and closing her eye she taking a deep breath. She had to muster up all the strength she could right now as her hands ran along his neck at first and then gently down his torso.

Sasha had been engrossed with Gabbies story that she hadn't even quite realised the smells that had hit her senses until the three of them were in the house and Connor was a mess. "what the fuck," she said as she got up from the sofa in a flash to move over beside Connor and Dymitrius, reaching her hand out to touch her exboyfriend completely forgetting what had happened yesterday for a moment. Are you hurt at all?! she spoke into his mind. But then she realised and pulled her hand away from him and knelt down beside Gabbie, "you've got this Gabs.." she said reassuringly but she was terrified.

Connor was still in his wolf form but as Gabbie's powers ran through him he felt himself come back into his body and he had just enough strength to shift into his human form. It would be easier for them to asses his damage in this form when he wasn't covered in a thick layer of fur. "gab..bie" he managed, his eyes blurring over as he started to cough up more blood. Whatever she was doing had worked slightly but it wasn't enough.

She had to be brace for him. She lifted her head and nodded as Luna spoke. "Thank you.. thank you for trying.. I just don't know what to do." Gabbie had only felt like this once before when she had injured Connor and got herself so wrapped up in a negative headspace and there was only one place she wanted to go, where she would feesafe and there would be a protector. Hell. "I've got to go." She whispered, and she used the strength that she had to prop Connor up into her arms, ignoring the blood that was pouring out into her cute outfit and she closed her eyes tight, her hands in little fists and before she knew it, she was at the palace, back in that corridor. Connor would be weak down here, but her father could do something couldn't he?

"

Lucifer had sensed his daughter the moment she arrived in his home and the scent of werewolf blood was overpowering for his nose. This could only mean one thing and he stood from his throne and rushed through the corridor to find Gabbie holding a very beaten up looking Connor. Now wasn't the time for any sort of reunion and he lowered himself to Connor, "what happened?" he asked as he scooped up Connors body with ease and hurried along the corridor into the first room on the left where a large bed was that he lay the boy down on. His eyes scanned the damage and rolled up the sleeves of his black silk shirt, the flesh on his arms shifting from pale to pitch black.

She was weeping quietly as she sat there with him, lifting her head, feeling her fathers presence. "There's is a war between enemy tribes right now.. Connor got hurt real bad. Anwitch I know, Luna.. she said she tried but she couldn't do it and I didn't know where else to go." He voice was filled with plea as she followed her father into the room, her hand stroking through Connors thick luscious hair and she sighed, pushing her forehead to his. "You're going to be okay wolfie, I promise." She whispered, lifting her head back up to look at her father, her eyes widening at the sight of him. There was still so much she didn't know about what he was capable of.

Luna felt the anger overtake the fear as Sasha spoke and she flinched just a little, even though he wasn't directing his anger at her. The way he called her his mate made her feel special but now was definitely not the time to feel soft about it. "D it's okay," she said, touching her hand to his free arm in hopes it would calm him down just a little bit but he pushed Sasha back and she let her hand drop from his. But then Sasha spoke and she was sure her heart and D's just skipped a beat. Maybe it was foolish of her to have thought that the two of them hadn't been sleeping together at all over the last month since her and D were somewhat reconnected but at the very least she thought they would have been safe.

Lucifer took in everything his daughter was saying at the same time of figuring out the best way to help the boy. He could sense the witches magic on his body, "your friend did a good job stopping the internal bleeding and I can tell you've managed to fix some of the broken bones in his rib cage.." his voice trailed off as he ran his hand along Connors neck and then down along his chest. "several disks in his spine had been knocked out of place.. his lungs have been punctured .. " there was a long pause before he turned to look at his daughter, her tears spilling from her eyes. "I can save him Gabriella but it will take time for him to heal." Closing his eyes he pressed two fingers on Connors forehead and darkness left his own body and it seemed to seem into Connors, causing his veins to pulse and tense appearing black to the eye before settling down. It a few minutes but the punctured skin healed up entirely and the internal injuries healed up.

Connor had slipped back into a state of unconscious as they had arrived in Hell due to the exhaustion of the journey. He had no idea how long had passed when his eyes finally opened once more and he could see Gabbie standing over him, "little one.." he whispered, his throat felt raw and dry which was probably due to the amount of blood he had coughed up. "I'm so sorry.." but he was starting to realise that the intense pain from before seemed to have left though his body was aching as if he had just ran across the entire earth.

Gabbie nodded along as her father spoke but she wasn't digesting the words very well. She was too scared and Gabbie wasn't a very scared or nervous person but this was making her feel sick inside. Mixed with the agony thstbshe was feeling radiating from Connor, she felt like she needed a good lie down. "Thank you so much father.. I.. I didn't know where else to go. Mother would never be accepting of this. Kurds you know exactly what she's like." She sighed and closed her eyes, when lucifer touched Connor, Gabbie felt it too and she had to squeeze her fists real tight. But it was all worth it as she ears Connors voice and the tears escaped from her eyes, dropping away. "Don't you ever be sorry.. I'm just so glad you're alive." She whispered.

Luna's head was spinning from the mixture of emotions from her mate, as well as the thoughts running through her own head. They had talked about having a family life together.. he really had strung this poor girl along for all she was worth. Was that what he was going to do with her? Sure he had imprinted but that bond could be broken by death if he really wanted. No shut up, this is D not Emmanuel. D would never hurt you. She was brought back to reality as he hit the wall and she shifted a little. This was uncomfortable and she decided to slip away into the kitchen where she tugged her ripped jumper off and used a cloth to dab at her bleeding shoulder and arm.

Lucifer would have laughed if the occasion hadn't been so serious, "your mother would have had a field day with .. this. I'm glad you felt like you could come to me. I'll always be here for you even if you don't want me around." As Connor began to wake up he ran his hand across his daughters shoulder, "I'll give you two some time." and with that he moved out of the room, shutting the doors and signalling a demon over. "no one is to enter this room, if they ask for anything make sure they get it. Do I make myself clear?"

Connor tried to sit up but the aching throughout his body told him that it was best he stay lying down for now. "I don't know what happened.. it was all so sudden.. " his voice broke as he spoke as he remembered the sound the tree made as his body broke it clean from its stump. "my brother is he okay?!" he asked, jerking up which his body did not appreciate. That's when his eyes took in the surrounding area and confusion began to take over, "where the fuck am I.. I'm not.. I'm not dead am I?!" he said suddenly, touching his face and then grabbing on to Gabbies hand to make sure she was definitely real.

Gabbie felt so much relief now that Connor was actually conscious and speaking. He was still in a lot of pain, but she vowed to herself she would nurse him back to health, no matter what it took. "It's okay.." she whispered again, her thumb gently stroking his forehead, freezing when he tried to shuffle himself up and she panicked straight away, like he was a fragile doll and he was about to break himself all over again. "Everyone is fine. D is alive. Scared, but alive." Shennodded slowly, gazing into his eyes, her bottom lip trembling justba little bit. She was trying to be so brave for him but it was hard when your soulmate is in so much agony. "You're not dead, you're just in hell.. I didn't know who else to come to." She admitted.

Connor was trying to take everything she said in but his heart was beating fast with panic and the amount of pain he was in was unbelievable. "Everyones okay..: he repeated again, the words soothing him just a little. His gaze moved back onto Gabbie, she looked pale and scared. It was clear she had been crying and her clothes.. well they were laced with his blood. The fact he had put her through this was what hurt the most right now, he was meant to protect her not the other way around. "Jusf visiting hell .. good. I wasn't quite ready to be dead." He said with a low laugh followed by a grimace of pain. Holding her hand weakly he let a smile grace his lips, "I should never have put you through this.. I'm so sorry for disappointing you."

Gabbie was just glad he was still alive, injured yes, but he could recover from this slowly and Gabbie was going to do everything she possibly could to make sure he was back on the road to full health in no time. A few steak dinners would sort him out and give him some strength. She'd be waiting on him hand and foot until he was better. "Well you always tell me you were never going to heaven, I thought I'd bring you down here to meet some of the guys." She joked, if they didn't laugh they'd probably be crying again. Her thumb gently stroked his sore knuckles and she shook her head, her face bolting to seriousness. "Don't you dare say that. You didn't disappoint me. You were my strong warrior, and I am so proud of you, Connor." Her voice was a whisper.

Luna could hear everything that was going on and that was the angriest she had ever heard Dymitrius but she couldn't blame him. It sounded like Sasha was a very manipulative person to be with and the relationship was clearly not as happy as they had made it out to believe. When Sasha shoved her she said nothing but once D came through she gave him a small smile. "I'll be fine, it's just a bit of blood.. but are you okay?" Lifting her hand up a little she ran her fingers across his face which had seemed so tense moments ago. "do you think she's telling the truth?"

Connor laughed at how ridiculous her comment was but it was true, he knew that because of what he was the chances of going to heaven were slim to none. "If they are all as pretty as you I'm in for one hell of an afterlife," he teased. As she spoke again he shook his head, "I got distracted by my father being there .. it was a stupid mistake and it almost cost us everything." He grimaced as he sat himself up a bit more, his gaze shifting to the door as it opened.

Lucifer came back through the door and flashed Connor a half smile, "ah the man of the hour is awake, feeling a bit rough?" he hovered around the edge of the bed before handing his daughter a black hip flask. "a sip every hour, on the hour, for the rest of the day should get his body working a bit more but I'm afraid that spending too much longer down here will only stunt his rehabilitation." pausing he straightened up again, a devilish smirk forming on his lips once again, "I never did get to say congrats on the engagement."

He let out a frustrated groan and closed his eyes again. "I hope she's lying, for the sake of her and me." He shook his head. "What if I'd true, Luna?"

Gabbie let out a little giggle. "I'm a rarity down here I'm afraid, you won't find another one like me anywhere." She winked, but their moment was ruined when her father came in and she stood up a little straighter, turning to face him. She hadn't seen him for a long time and she felt bad for avoiding him, but he seemed to have no hard feelings. "Thank you. I know. I'll take him back up in a second." She squeezed the hip flask, it felt like it was burning in her hands already but she'd soon get over that. She took a step closer to her father. "Thank you. And thank you for the ring, its so beautiful.." she rubbed at it as she spoke. "I was thinking.. wondering.. if you wanted to give me a way on our wedding day?" She asked.
