Axel had been locked inside some room, not allowed to go out. It was apparently something they did to try and fix his anger issues, but he wondered how they couldn't realize this only made everything worse.
He had gotten a few kicks and punches in on Jay before they had been pulled apart; Jay had bruised Axel some too.
He had stopped burning, although his horns were still full-grown; Axel had not calmed down completely yet.

There wouldn't be any point in trying to break the door, it was made out of some kind of metal, and Axel's fist would only leave a dent in it.
There was a window, but it was so small; he didn't think he could fit through it.
He was most definitely stuck in there.
