"maybe once you finish here but that is so far away." he sighed a little and kissed her neck very softly a few times, not wanting to let go of her yet. "if you ever need me, you know how to reach me."

evangeline took in a deep breath and nuzzled into him, her hands slowly sliding up and down his sides in a soothing sort of way, just keeping the closeness between them. "not that long. only like 4 months now. I finish this year, and I know for a fact james has no interest in staying with me." she moved slightly so that she could look up at him.

"Now come on, any longer and someone is bound to find us and yell and fire me." he smiled, letting his arms drop from around her very slowly.

evangeline shrugged. "i'm not what he wants. I work hard and I don't look like how he wants me to look. our relationship is just.." she shook her head, not wanting to bore him with the facts. she stood up properly, clearing her throat. "yeah, good idea.." she glanced up at the clock, her eyes widening realising how long they had been in there. "shit.." he mumbled. "I need to go.." she quickly walked out of the room, and grabbed her jacket.

Adam really worried about her relationship, he just wanted to protect her from whatever evil she was involved with but he couldn't do that very well right now. Not for another four months anyway. "see you later." he said quickly before she left. Slowly sitting himself down into his chair, reflecting on what just happened.

evangeline quickly rushed out, pulling out her phone from her pocket. missed calls and texts, all from james. she didn't want this, stuck in a dead end relationship with no where to escape. she ran a hand through her hair and quickly called him back, deciding it was the best thing to do. as she waited for him to answer, she began to think up some kind of excuse for not answering her phone.

HELLO GIRLFRIEND." he said in a drunken anger, "so you CAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARE to reply?" he let the word care really hit some nerves, one hand forming into a fist. "care to explain where you have been? since this is the second time you've just avoided me."

evangeline flinched at the harsh words that came out of his mouth. "hey james, i'm sorry. I was out buying you a gift for our anniversary.. it's this saturday, remember?" she smiled to herself, walking back to her room slowly. "and I wanted to make sure it was perfect, and I turned my phone off, that's all. but i'm on my way back now.." she couldn't let him know anything was different.

evangeline let out a deep breath once she could feel he had calmed down slightly. "it will be I promise you. it will be so good baby, I can't wait until our anniversary." she tucked her hair behind her ear, walking a little faster. "I know, I was a bitch to you yesterday," she rolled her eyes, ".. but I will make it up to you when I get back. love you!" she said before hanging up. the relationship was beginning to become hard work for her. she wasn't sure how much longer she could cope.

James barely got enough time to talk again before she had hung up. He scowled a little and tossed the phone aside, wondering over to her drawers to look at her clothes. Specifically her underwear drawer where he found the thongs he had bought for her. That was about the only type of gifts he ever bought her.

"what're you doing?" she stepped over to him, smiling a little.

"well take your time babe.." she shrugged, glancing up at him. "yeah, it was good. my piece is finally ready for the performance on friday. sir says i'm doing really well."
