Alaska took a look at her watch for seventh time. He was just really late, she thought to herself. She checked her phone again and again, no messages - no calls. Alaska felt a bit scared, but wanted to believe so badly that he'd come. She didn't want to think that after all this time he would just ditch her. She knew, that things had been kinda hard lately. Or very hard, to be exact. He told Alaska that they'll figure it out tonight, they can work it out. Alaska bit her tongue to keep the tears away, she had never been ditched like this. There she was, sitting in a fancy restauraunt, all alone, on valentines day. The day that she had always loved.


Evan was sitting at the restaurant, drinking his coffee. His older brother had left just few minutes ago, he was going to some stupid valentines day concert with his wife. Evan was tapping the table silently, being bored. He was checking out these people who were laughing and looking so in-love. He wasn't a jealous type, but sometimes he kinda wished he would've had someone to share the day with - especially a day like this, valentines day. Evan had been single for so long now that he felt like he didn't even know how to date. Maybe it would all come back if he'd just try.
He looked around, there was this one couple that were just staring at eachother, not even eating or talking - just staring. Then his eyes saw this one girl - sitting alone, on valentines day. Just like him. He thought to himself that she probably had company, but still kept his eyes on her.

Thea sighed as she sat in the restaurant. She had been waiting for just over an hour now and she was giving up hope on Aaron ever coming. It made her pretty sad because they had been drifting apart really bad lately due to the fact that he had been getting involved with some really bad people. But the past week they had been getting on really well and she thought everything was back to normal. Obviously not. She had made a lot of effort, she had gone and got her hair and nails done, she had gotten a new outfit and even gotten new underwear. She sighed, ordering herself a bottle of wine since she was on her own. She might as well have a drink if she's gonna be having a meal on her own. Once they brought her the wine she poured herself a big glass of wine. She took a long sip and looked and glanced around the restaurant, her eyes landing on a very good looking man. His eyes were on her. She could feel her cheeks blush a little. She gave him a small smile before she dropped her eyes from his and looked down at the table in front of her.

Nate sighed a little as he sipped his beer. He had shown up to the restaurant, thinking he was going to be meeting his best friend for a meal. The luck bugger found a valentine at the last minute though so that left him on his own. He didn't know what to do, did he leave or stay, in the hope of getting to meet another lonely heart. He glanced around the room and bit his lip as his eyes landed on this one girl. She was gorgeous and he had no idea why she was alone. He sighed, she probably wasn't alone. Someone as pretty as her wouldn't be alone on valentines day.

As the waitress came up to Alaska's table for the second time, she ordered herself some ice water. She felt betrayed, a bit embarrassed, lonely. She started feeling uncomfortable in her dress, in the high heels. Alaska hated high heels, but she wanted to look nice for her boyfriend as they were trying to save their relationship. Or she thought they were, seems like he wasn't. Alaska took a deep breath and put her phone back to her clutch. Alaska felt too uncomfortable taking a look at the menu, she just sat there - waiting for the water instead of her now to be ex-boyfriend.

Evan smiled back at this pretty woman, looking at him for a second. Evan took a deep breath and stood up, walking slowly to the table where this woman sat. "May I join you?" he asked politely and continued, "or are you waiting for someone special?" He felt nervous, mixed feeling were running through his brain - he wasn't sure what he was doing. The woman seemed absolutely gorgeous though.

He bit his lip and gave her his charming smile ''Hi.'' he said softly ''I noticed you were on your own. I'm on my own to, I was wondering if you might like some company?''
