Elin shook her head, giving him a small smile "sammy I know you're good company, we spent enough time together years ago. I haven't changed that much and I think really you haven't changed that much either." She said as she grabbed his bottle of vodka and poured herself a shot and knocked it back. "You don't look fine, sammy." She said softly "I know we haven't spoken or been on good terms in a while but you can talk to me, I won't judge. I want even say anything back if you don't want me to." She said as she grabbed another can of Malibu "Or we could just have a drink and forget everything for a while?"

Mat grinned as he headed home. He felt like today could be the turning point for him an Anna, it felt like she actually have him a chance today and he really liked that. He just hoped that she would see that he's a pretty good guy when they go on their date. Once he got home he had a shower, pulled on come Calvin Klein boxers and then changed into some jeans and a black button up shirt. He pulled the sleeves up to his elbows so it showed off some of his muscles. He sprayed on some after shave and then headed to the party, having a feeling that it was going to be a good night.

Anna quickly washed her hair and body and then scrubbed her skin, before climbing out and nipping to her room. She dried off and then blow dried her lovely long blonde hair. Pulling on a pair of very short leather look shorts and a knitted crop top and not much more, she was certainly one to show off a lot of skin. Curling her mane of hair into a lovely rush of locks, she applied a heavy amount of make up, spritzed her perfume, slipped her feet into her thigh high boots and headed out the door to the party.

Mat walked into the party, saying hello to a few people as he walked through to the make shift bar. He grabbed a bottle of stella and leaned against the side as he talked to a bunch of his friends. It was a guy in his group of friends that were throwing the party so he felt pretty relaxed. He looked over at the door and his eyes widened a little when he saw Anna, she looked amazing. He bit his lip and gave her a big smile and a little wave discreetly, not wanting it to be known so he didn't risk getting her into trouble.

Turning her head for just a second, she spotted Mat, a smile spreading her delicately painted lips. Waving back, she gave him a wink before chatting to her friends about the latest boys in the dating scene.

Mat smiled a little as she winked and then turned back to his friends, letting her do her own thing. He was going to see if she came to him, he didn't want to force himself on her or anything. He finished his beer and then downed a couple of shots with his friends. They were all talking about the girls they had gone out with lately and for him, that wasn't anyone. There wasn't anyone that really sparked his interest and he wasn't the type of guy to go for the easy girls like his friends did. He looked down at his phone and grinned a little, Jack wasn't even coming to the party, he was staying home with his latest girl.

Anna was very much about going out on dates and letting boys treat her like a queen before dropping them. This wasn't her plan with Mat, however. She wanted to genuinely see what the date was going to be about, what he was planning on doing. She talked to some of her friends about boys in their college, giggling and being just very chatty and loud with her pals. She glanced over at Mat, wanting so desperately to go over and speak to him now she had a little more alcohol in her system, but afraid that her brother would catch her at the party.

He leaned over and whispered in her ear ''You look stunning, Anna.'' he pulled away and smiled ''Jack's not here, by the way. He's staying at some girls house.'' he said as he took a long sip of his beer.

Anna's hips had started to swing when the music came on and she couldn't help herself, reaching her hand out to his. "Well I can't say no to dancing, but I definitely don't remember owing you a dance. I think you might be making it up." She ran her thumb along his finger, smirking up at him in an almost cheeky way, she headed over to wear the majority of the party were grinding upon one another. That wasn't her style.. Most of the time. Swaying her hips and bopping up and down, she was in the zone.

Mat smiled ''I did mention it when we were talking about it but you said no because of your brother. But he isn't here so it's all good.'' he said with a grin as he laced his fingers with hers. He chuckled at the way she was smirking, she was so cute. He followed her over to where people were dancing and rested his hands on her hips as he swayed to the music with her. ''It's nice when we get on, isn't it?'' he said with a little smile.

Raising her perfectly stencilled on eyebrows, her hands slipped up so that her fingertips curled over his muscles on the back of his arms so they danced together. "It's not so bad, I mean this is the nicest you've been to be for years, dude. I'm not gonna say no to a bit of friendliness."

It made her happy to hear him say that, she didn't know why it did but it made her feel happier than she had in a long long time. "I'd like that too. I don't like arguing with you or not talking to you. And thank you.." She said, her cheeks blushing. She hoped he wouldn't notice. "He does care about you like a brother, Sam. He treats you how he treats me, you're like a brother to him. He may be an ass to you but he's the same to me too. To be honest I think he would be lost without you as a friend." She said as she looked over at him. "I can't believe I thought you hated me all these years when you never actually did.. It makes me feel really happy that you remember all the little things, not many people do. What else can you remnber?" She asked, turning so she she was facing him. She grinned at him "and then my favourite one was your second favourite."

Mat smiled "Sure is." He said as he pulled her a little closer, his hands still holding onto her hips. He never really danced at parties but it was nice to just relax and let go for a while. He couldn't help but grin when she held onto his arms, enjoying the touch of her fingers on his skin. He nodded "I know.. It sounds stupid but I was actually trying to impress you all these years but really just made myself look like a prick. No more being a prick, I promise." He said with a smile as he looked down st her. "You looking forward to tomorrow?"

He wanted to, he really really did but he wasn't sure if she would want him to kiss her. "I watched how the guys you seemed to like acted and then tried to be like them. Massive fail. I never meant anything I said though, Anna. I hope you know that." He said softly. "Nothing dodgy, I promise. Just a lot of fun. You'll love it." He said with a smile. He moved his head a little closer, seeing how she would react to it.
