I never wanted to end up busking somewhere underground. I've always loved the sun and playing outside with my friends, but life just never seemed to work in my favour. Since I attended my very first dance class I wanted to be a ballet dancer. Music was always in my life, and moving my body in such a delicate but disciplined way made me happy. Truly, truly happy.
Until one day, I broke my ankle. Badly. In order to fix my injury I had lot of surgeries. Nothing worked. I couldn't dance anymore.
I finished a song, and took a deep breath. I didn't collect much change today.
Fortunately, my mother insisted I learnt how to play at least one instrument, so I took up guitar. I enjoyed it, but I put all my energy in dancing, but after everything, I had only a few options.
Since then I learnt to play the piano and the violin too, really beautiful sounding instruments. But heck, they don't make me much money. Not that my old guitar did much, but still better.
I looked up, barely starting on a new song, when an old Japanese man approched me. He was very determined to assess my skills and to follow him.
No way!
I told him no, but he was adamant. I didn't wanted to go with him, so I just looked at the closest person I could find and started talking to her.
'Hey. long time no see, am I right?' I hoped the girl would catch up with the situation.
