her parents come from a very high up family in he human realm, however they aren't particularly proud of her actions and so have abandoned her at the school until she fixes her behaviours. Which doesn't look like it's happening any time soon. // he had to take a year out to be on the counselling committee, and also to be a guardian for a little while to a small girl. Is back on track now and is the perfect example.

Sashaying up to her private dorm room, she paused for a moment, delving into her bag to pull out her key which was unindated with key chains, stopping in her tracks as she heard fumbled footsteps and panicked motions. Creeping towards her door, she gasped, finding it already opened, by force, and some strange boy going through her belongings. "What the ever loving fuck is going on here!" She reached into her bag, pulling out her pepper spray.

He flung his eyes out to protect himself from the menacing pepper spray she had pulled out, "WAIT.... it's .... not what it looks like....?" he said weakly.

Maias' eyes were filled with fire and anger, she was ready to tear his head front his neck there and then. If she had the strength, obviously. Throwing her bag to the floor, she stomped towards him, grabbing him by the scruff of his tshirt, shoving him against the wall. She wasn't entirely sure where this power had come from but well, she wasn't about to start doubting herself. "You have literally five seconds to explain to me what the hell you think you're doing raiding through my stuff before I call dorm security and the police, I mean it!" She raised her voice, though it cracked a little towards the end.

With his back up against the wall he tried to pull himself together and let the bag drop from his hand, "I..." he said, before shaking his head a little. "Please don't get security, look.. you can have all your stuff back. Can we just pretend like this never happened, yeah? I'll do anything for this to just be wiped from our memories. I can't afford for anyone to find out.. please.."

You're so lucky I'm not gonna take you for everything your poor ass owns." Finally letting go of his collar, she flexed her fingers, gravvjngthe bag from the floor she ruffled inside of it, her pout growing. "Literally this is disgusting.. you think you'd get away with this and I would realise all my belongings were gone! Give me one good reason why I shouldn't get security involved.."

Nathan coughed hard when he let go of her, before rubbing his neck a little where she had held him. He took a few steps to the side when she came towards the bag to check what he had taken. He took a deep breath before beginning to speak, "I needed money to pay off a bit of dept I'm in and.. I heard people talking about someone that had a lot of uh.. luxury items lying about that might not be missed.. I just thought that maybe I could get away with it." he looked at the ground and rubbed his head, now talking more to himself "I've fucked everything up"

But then she pulled out a small gold chain with a single charm on it, and it felt like her heart fell into her stomach. "Might not be missed! This is all I have left of my grand,other, everything else has been either trashed or someone else has got it. And you think you can just take it for yourself?" She threw the bag onto her bed, crossing her arms over her chest. "Well you've got that right. I should ring the police right now."

Maybe he really was that desperate, she had just never been in that situation before, her privileged life meant she'd never even experienced a day of struggle. Perching on the end of the bed, she locked her phone screen and placed it down. "I.. I'm not gonna do that. But just explain yourself to me.. let me try and understand, what's your name?" She rested her hands in end lap, staring down at him.

Nathan watched as she pulled out her phone and he could hear his heartbeat racing as he tried to plan his escape. He could change his form and run forever? Shake his real identity? When he didn't hear her speak he lifted his head, watching her. He was shocked, "my names Nathan," he started, taking a deep breath, "I've not been here long.. I'm a shapeshifter, lost my family a long time ago and I've been trying to make it on my own with nothing to my name. To get in here meant everything, but people from my old life are here and they need money from me otherwise they are going too... too.. " he swallowed hard, his voice now much shakier, " take me away and experiment with my genes until they can change my original form permanently."

"My name is Maia." Listening to him, it shocked her a little. Getting used to this whole supernatural beings thing, it still freaked her out and she often kept to herself, to keep out of the drama more than anything. "How much money do you owe them, exactly?" Her fingers played with the Tiffany ring that sat upon her right middle finger, her eyes darting from him to the bag of stuff he had attempted to rob. He was rights the majority of it meant nothing to her.
