Jenna’s blue eyes opened slowly, and for a mere moment she felt numb. Then, a wave of hurt came hurling at her. Her body ached, her head throbbed. She felt like someone had repeatedly pounded her body for hours on end. She could swear her head was expanding at the moment, and would sure erupt. She opened her mouth to gulp in air after swallowing and realizing how dry her throat was. Her chapped lips grazed against each other, signaling her thirst. She needed water, and needed it bad. Somehow she managed to choke out a cough. Looking around, she realized she was no longer in the library, studying for her history final this coming Friday. She was in a moldy, mustard colored room. The washed out, orange sheets below her let her know that she must be in a motel of some sort. “What the hell…” she mumbled, the reality of the situation still not sinking in. Attempting to push herself upward, she realized that firstly she was too weak to do so, and secondly her arms and legs were tied down to the bed.
Ian fiddled with the sharp knife in his hands, watching Quincy’s chest heave in and out with each breath she took. He hoped she wouldn’t make him punish her the very first night they spent together, because that would simply kill his mood. The pills he gave her earlier should be wearing off soon, and then the games would begin. He had waited a long time for this. And when Madeline and Jacquline went missing, he had definitely taken it as a sign. Quincy. Her name was alluring and simple as it was, he wondered what he would decide for her pet name to be. She could pass off as a Priscilla, he thought, snickering to himself. She really was a site to see, thought, and he knew it would be no trouble finding her clients. Recently there was an increase in calls for girls with multicolored hair. He could dress her in bright colored clothing for a trip down to candy land. He chuckled at the thought, wanting to wake her up himself so he could get the difficult part over with. As if she was reading his mind, she began to fidget in her sleep. She was finally waking up.
