The Academy is a school filled with not-so-normal students and staff. Having been around for generations, it has been accepting children with all types of abnormal abilities be they extravagant or moderate. But the students aren’t the only exceptional ones at this campus— The teachers, as well as the other staff all have extraordinary abilities.
Though a safe-haven for some of those who differ from the rest of the human population, the school acts like a prison for others with dangerous powers. In fear those with incredible abilities cannot be controlled, users are forced to stay within the confines of the Academy, for as long as they deem appropriate. Everyone here has a special ability or two and one without any is considered an outsider. The campus is split into three sections based on ages: Below 12, 13-17, 18 and above.
However just because the school boards such peculiar individuals doesn’t mean it’s not open to the general public. the Academy is a prestigious school, with upstanding standards that has most wealthy families sending their kids to the campus. However money isn’t just the objective here, students can still get into the school on scholarships and various financial aids. The Academy houses all kinds of minds, classes, and talents that aren’t only limited to the supernatural.
The Academy, wow... what a "prestigious" name. LOL, I know...I know. Alas, I am completely out of names so if you have a better one: I'M OPEN TO SUGGESTIONS!
