Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I can't guarantee that I'll be able to send many replies this week; my sister is having surgery and I'll be with her a lot over the next few days. We've spent most of the last week trying to prepare for everything and it's been really hectic. I'll try to reply every chance that I get, but please bear with me, haha. Thanks for understanding!

Also, these might be a little long since they're the first post. They can always go up or down in length, depending on what needs to be said and whatnot. Let me know if they're too long or too short, it's all about compromise! :)

Molli was in line at the coffee shop, hoping to pick up her signature mocha cappuccino, when her phone buzzed in her pocket. She pulled out her phone and found a message from Ben. 'Meet @ my place in :30, bring coffee pls' it read, and she let out a sigh, having planned on spending most of the day by herself. She wanted to clean up around her apartment and do a little shopping downtown after having earned a bonus working as a bartender at the bar where Ben liked to perform. She finally reached the cashier and ordered two of her favorite drinks. She waited for her order to be prepared before she left to head back to her apartment, which was two floors above the coffee shop that was in the lobby of the building. She changed out of her usual shopping attire - jeans and a nicer shirt, complete with matching scarf and purse - and into a pair of comfortable leggings with a sweatshirt and sneakers. She slid her phone and her keys into her sweatshirt pocket before locking her door behind her and heading off towards Ben's apartment, which was just a couple blocks down the street. She would make it there in plenty of time, thankfully. She made her way to his building and buzzed in before she rode in the elevator to his floor. She arrived at his door and knocked with her elbow as her hands were occupied with their coffee cups. "Just me, Ben," she called out when it took him a moment to get to the door. When he pulled it open, she extended his coffee to him and asked, "What's up?"

Maddox was at his apartment with Faith, scribbling some lines into his notebook after strumming a few chords on his guitar. He worked diligently as Faith was in the kitchen, surfing through the drawers and cabinets in hopes of finding the menu for the local pizza shop that offered delivery past midnight. He sat down his pen and reached for his coffee mug, downing a long sip of his mocha before returning to his work. He spun around on his bar stool and looked over at her, completely consumed in trying to find the paper. He let out a short chuckle and watched as she glared over at him. "Try the silverware drawer," he advised her before playing another few notes. He grimaced when it didn't sound exactly as he had predicted. "Why is this so hard today?" he mumbled under his breath, becoming quite frustrated. Apparently Faith was sharing the same emotion because he heard a chorus of slamming drawers and doors coming from across the room. He leaned his guitar up against the table and stood up, stretching his arms up toward the sky and wiggling his cramped fingers. He walked over to where Faith stood in front of the silverware drawer and stuck his hand inside, feeling around until he reached the back of the drawer. He reached up and pried the menu off of where it had gotten stuck against the bottom of the drawer above it. "Got it," he told her, retracting his hand and passing the menu over to her. He looked up and into her eyes, suddenly amazed by their brilliant brown color. He stood still for a moment, his body refusing to move as he was captivated by her beauty.

That's fine, and you're quite welcome!
Same here. No worries, your post is great. Just the fact that you took the time to reply is what matters to me lol.

Molli shook her head. "No problem," she said, a small smile on her face, "I'd love to help. I always do, and you know that." She let out a small laugh and took a step inside, walking over and taking a seat beside him on the couch. She slid off her shoes and pushed them under the coffee table before pulling her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around her legs. She took a sip of her coffee before she spoke. "I was just going to spend the day cleaning and running a few errands that can wait. I didn't even consider the idea that I could spend time with you on my day off, so I apologize for that." She sat her coffee down on the opposite end of the table and listened to him ask about her morning. While he flipped papers around, she told him, "It was fine. I woke up early and went for a jog with Lady. I stopped to get some coffee before I went back to start vaccuuming and dusting everything when I got your text." Lady was Molli's Siberian Husky. The two were atatched at the hip and could frequently be spotted taking early morning runs around the neighborhood. They went nearly everywhere together, except on shopping trips and when Molli went to work at the bar. "How about yours?" she asked, wondering what had made him struggle with his music. Usually, he only had troubles when something had happened. A few weeks ago, it was because half of his audience walked out in the middle of his performance the night before. Last week, it was because he spent all day working on a piece to find that he had used the exact same tune as American Pie. She had noticed a romance theme in most of his songs, and she always grew a bit nervous when he brought up that he needed her help. Even though she loved to offer her advice, she didn't exactly want to delve into her past relationships. Too many times she'd trusted someone that didn't deserve her love, and she didn't want that to happen ever again.

It took Maddox a few moments to realize that Faith had backed away from him and was already on the other side of the kitchen. He furrowed his brow and shook his head quickly, not really sure why she was so desperate to get away from him. Of course he had feelings for her, there was no need to lie about that. But whenever he'd brought up the idea that they were spending a lot of time together and started to talk about his future, he couldn't help but notice how she got a bit nervous. He wasn't sure what that stemmed from, whether she wasn't ready to move on from something that happened in her past or she just never really thought about her future, but it made him worry. He'd considered, a couple of times, spending most of his future with her. The idea scared him a little bit; he'd never really had feelings like this for a girl before, but he knew that Faith was worth all of it. Being together with her would definitely do more good than bad for the two of them, he just wasn't sure how to bring it up. He slid the menu across the counter to her and flipped on one of the overhead lights so that they could read the menu together. "That Philly cheesesteak pizza looks interesting," he commented. They'd had a thing for trying out exotic varieties of pizza lately. Sure, it wasn't like they were really branching out and eating new vegetables or trying different cultural foods, but it was fun for them and they often discovered their new favorite flavors. He waited for her to agree and once she did, he pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and placed an order for delivery. "Do you want to listen to this piece?" he asked her, "I've got a few lyrics written down but I want to keep them a surprise for now. We have a spare few minutes while we wait, if you're up for it?"
