Freddie was sat in his study working on some new plans on how they could keep up the protection on their borders. Lately, there had been a lot of attacks on packs and he wasn't going to let anyone in his pack get hurt. He had to keep his defenses strong. He sniffed at the air around him and wrinkled his nose. Something smelled...different. A good different but not normal. He rose from his seat hearing noise from outside and headed out of the room to see what was happening. His eyes darkened at the sight of a girl being dragged up to him by his men. They told him of how they had found her out by the border and that she was injured. He sniffed again, the smell stronger and much more appealing this time. It was her. "Take her into see the pack doctor, i'll speak with her while he patches her up. Now everyone stop causing a scene and get back to what you were doing." He turned and followed his men as they took her in to see the pack doctor. He didn't understand what it was about her but there was something that made him want to protect her and find out who hurt her this way. Yet another part of him was cautious that this girl could be waiting to attack them at any moment, he had no reason to trust her. She could be dangerous.

Cassie tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear as she stood hiding behind a tree. Her eyes glued to the large wolf that had stopped just meters in front of her. She quietly pulled her bow from her back and slid in the silver arrow as she lined up her shot. Taking a deep breath to steady her aim, she pulled back on the string with a tight grip. Then just as she was about to shoot, the wolf turned and faced her. She new it could see her. His eyes were glued to hers and he was slowly edging towards her. As hard as she tried to keep her aim on the arrow something about this wolf was different. It terrified her that she was suddenly unable to even move. She was just completely mesmerized by the wolf in front of her.

Elin had been wondering around with no set destination for weeks. The only thing she knew she had to do was get away from her pack. They were awful. Her pack were known as one of the most dangerous and ruthless. If you weren't up to their standards then you would be treated horribly and it would be known that you were different to everyone else. That's what happened to her. Her family didn't have much money, her dad was an alcohic and they just weren't very well off. And then she was also late at turning and her pack didn't like late turners because for a while she was basically useless to them. So because of that her alpha made sure that the pack knew she was different and that she would stand out. Because she stood out the treatment she recieved from other members of the pack was horrible. Things got worse and worse and she finally decided that she would rather go rogue than spend another minute in that pack. So that's where she was now. She was in her wolf form and she had been running for a good few hours. She was begining to slow, not realising that she was near a packs boarder. Her wolf was pitch black, the only other colour on her were her eyes and paws. Her paws were pure white and she had piercing blue eyes. As she slowed she walked down a little dip. She didn't realise how deep it was until she had fallen. Her legs went from under her and her left leg was in an odd angle. She tried to get up but she couldn't. Before she knew it she was back in her human form. She looked at her leg and winced, it looked horrible. She was about to try and crawl to somewhere more safe but she heard footsteps. She looked up, eyes wide as she noticed two very strong looking men. She bit her lip and let them help her, she had no choice, especially since they had to make sure she wasn't a threat to them. When they took her to their alpha she frowned, something smelt amazing. Sweet.. And manly and citrusy. She couldn't work out where it was coming from, it wasn't the men carrying her. When they reached the alpha she knew that it was him. Why did he smell so good though? And why was the scent so strong? That's what she didn't understand. She stayed quiet, not knowing what to say. She just hoped that they wouldn't hurt her. She had heard stories about what happened to rogues and it scared her. While the doctor was looking at her leg she couldn't stop stealing glances at the alpha. He was beautiful.

What happens with them again? I'm a bit confused on how to reply haha :c

Freddie stared at her as he got lost in thought. His black eyes slowly changing to a golden color. This usually happened when his wolf was excited about something but he wasn't sure what. "What is your name. And what is your business within this area? You understand this is my land and you should not trespass onto it." He stepped towards her before pulling off his shirt and handing it to her. "Put that on." He did feel sorry for her, she didn't look well. Plus, she must have just shifted when his men found her therefore she hadn't had time to put clothes on. He started to pace around the room as he watched her. "How did you get injured? Was it your old pack that you ran from, rogue?" He crossed his arms over his chest, his muscles flexing. He could feel her gaze on him and that just made his wolf even happier but he still didn't understand why this stupid rogue made his wolf so damn happy. He watched the doctor inspect her leg. He could smell her sweet scent even more due to the open wound. She smelled absolutely amazing and he wanted more of it, so did his wolf.

Elin bit her lip softly as she wrapped her arms around herself, cringing at the fact she was naked. She didn't even realise until they put her on the hospital bed. "My name is Elin, Elin McKenna. I do realise that and I apologise for being on your land, I didn't even realise. I've wandered so far. I don't have any business in the area other than trying to find somewhere safe to stay." She said as she looked up at him but didn't meet his eyes. Her eyes widened a little when he pulled his shirt off "I.. Thank you." She said quietly as she turned away, pulling the shirt on. She was thankful that he was much bigger than her so everything was covered up. Her eyes wandered to his chest and she bit her lip softly, he was beautiful. He was more than beautiful he was.. Perfect. She could feel her wolf getting excited and she didn't understand why, shouldn't she be scared right now, not excited? "It wasn't my old pack, at least not my leg. I had been running for a few hours and when I began to slow down I went down a dip and it was deeper than I realised and felt on my front legs." She said quietly. She felt strange and she didn't know why, it's like she couldn't really concentrate on anything but the beautiful scent that she knew was coming from him. "I'm sorry for coming onto your land by the way. I was that into my own little bubble that I didn't realise. Also I mean no harm to your pack." She said as she looked up at him and then looked away, she didn't want to look too much otherwise she would be staring at his beautifully sculpted chest.

Mat and his friend were on the look out for hunters by the orders of their alpha. They had been walking around for a while wihh no sight of any. His friend was saying that they should go home but he could feel something, there was someone somewhere. He could smell it. It was sweet, like vanilla or something of that kind. He didn't know what it was but he liked it and his wolf really liked it. He was stood with his back to a tree when he heard a noise. There was someone there. He turned around, eyes landing on a human. Not just any human, a hunter. A hunter that was about to kill him. He walked forward, towards the human. The scent grew stronger as he did so. He was a tall wolf and luckily for him the human wasn't the tallest so he could knock the bow from her hands. He sniffed, his wolf going crazy. He mind linked his friend, telling him to capture her while he had her distracted. Once they had her he walked behind a tree and shifted. He pulled on some shorts and then walked back to the hunter, his eyes landing on hers. "Mate." He muttered, not being able to take his eyes off of her. She was gorgeous.

"I'll do anything just please don't kill me. Don't take me to your alpha. I'll stay away and never come back. I beg of you please don't take me to your alpha he will kill me..." She sniffled and tried to move out of the other mans grip. "Let go of me!" She struggled against his firm grip trying her hardest to get away although it was no use.

Freddie stepped towards her, sniffing the air as a small smile formed on his lips. This little rogue was absolutely beautiful and he could tell she was enjoying the site of him too because hadn't once looked away from him. He gently lifted her head to look him in the eyes, "Elin...What a beautiful name." His expression changed quickly, back to one of pure stone and cold. "You do realize what people do to rogues yes? You shouldn't be so careless, wondering these woods without a care. Your lucky you ended up here, any other pack would have shredded you to pieces and eaten you." He leaned in closer to her and sniffed. He had always heard stories of people finding their mates. They would smell like the most amazing scent and they would be stunning in your eyes. But this girl, she couldn't be his mate. She was a rogue, she was careless and she wasn't even tough. She couldn't be a luna to his pack, they needed someone strong and powerful to be their luna.

He was the most beautiful man she had ever seen. His eyes became brighter when he smiled and seeing him smile made her want to smile. She frowned when his expression changed but then shook her head. Why would he smile at her? She nodded "I should hsve been more careful I was just trying to come up with a plan as to where I can go.. Somewhere safe as I've been looking for weeks. What are you going to do with me?" she asked, a hint of fear in her voice. She didn't know what he would do, she knew what happened to rogues and she wandered if he would do that to her. As she sat there she finally heard what her wolf was saying. 'Mate! He's our mate!' She said excitedly. Elin's eyes widened as she realised that he was her mate, all the signs were there. She never thought she would meet her mate, she thought she would be on her own but here he was. "Mate." She said quietly, her eyes meeting his again, a tiny smile gracing her lips. She had dreamed of this moment since she was little.

Mat frowned. His mate was a hunter, a hunter that almost killed him. he had to take any hunters back to his alpha to be killed but he couldn't let that happen to her. He couldn't lose her when he didn't even know her. He shook his head "We won't hurt you. I can't hurt you" he said softly as he told his friend to let go of her. He reached out and took her hand "you're my mate." He said softly. He didn't know what he was meant to do now though, his alpha was suppose to kill any hunters. He couldn't let her be killed though and he had heard that losing a mate was one of the worst things that could happen to a wolf.

"If you really won't hurt me then what are you going to do with me? I almost killed you and you could get into trouble for helping a hunter." She grabbed her bow from the ground quickly and backed up into the tree. "Just let me go...please."

Freddie looked down at her his eyes widening at her words. "Mate?..." He was right, she felt it too. "Your my mate." He stepped towards her, pulling her close to him as he breathed in her sweet scent. His inner wolf howling in excitement but it all stopped when Ashley entered. He pulled back quickly and looked at her, "Ashley. What are you doing in here. Go back outside and make sure everyone is back to doing what they are supposed to be doing." He glanced back at Elin and frowned. What was he going to do. How would he tell either of them that Elin was his mate but he already had a girlfriend. Plus, Ashley was great at being a leader. She was the kind of woman who would be a perfect luna. Whereas, Elin looked fragile and weak. She couldn't keep peace among the pack and make them feel safe when she looked simply breakable to touch. Though the thought of loosing her already hurt, he couldn't let her walk away from him. They were mates and they belonged together so maybe she would be right.

She smiled a little when he sent her back outside. Elin let out a small laugh, a smile on her face "I can't believe I've found you. I never thought I would actually get a mate.. My old pack even told me that but I've found you." she said as she couldn't help but smile even more, clueless to what he was thinking. She hoped that now maybe she would finally get the chance of having a bettrr life for herself. "No wonder there was such a good smell when I first saw you. I couldn't work it out at first but then my wolf said it and i realised why."

Mat frowned and shook his head "I'm not lying to you. And j won't hurt you.. I can't hurt you." He said as he gave her a small smile. He couldn't believe he had actually found his mate. "It's rare but it can happen, humans and werewolves can be mates. And you're mine." He said as he smiled. "I don't know what to do now but I know that I can't let you go. I can't lose you when I've only just found you. I won't hurt you." He said as he took a step closer to her "I'm not going to let you go.. You're my mate and I will protect you from my alpaha and find a way for us.. Pleas give me the chance." He said as he held his hand out to her.

Freddie frowned as he looked down at her, "Listen, Elin, we are going to need to talk about this. But for now i'm going to get you moved into a spare room so you can rest." He lifted her into his arms and carried her off into the house. He loved the way her warm body felt against his, it sent sparks flying throughout him. "I never thought i'd find my mate...I honestly didn't. That's why we need to talk. I made some mistakes and I need you to hear me out." He set her down on the comfy bed and looked down at her. "You look like you haven't eaten in days. What do you want to eat? I'll get someone to make something for you."
