Opal grabbed a cold blue moon out of the fridge before turning to look out the window. It was mid-day, and the sky was blue and she could hear the waves crashing from inside the beach house. She grabbed a bottle opener from the drawer and listened to that refreshing noise when she cracked the top off. She took a swig and looked around, wondering where everyone else was. It was about 1 pm, and she knew most of them liked to sleep in but Opal wasn't one for sleeping in. She felt like there was too much to do, which prompted her to almost always wake up before 12 pm. She tied the sides of her black bikini and opened the door, stepping into the soft white sand, the feeling was like no other. She couldn't decide if she wanted to lay out or take a dip, but decided on pulling out one of the chairs and pushing it out closer to the water and laying down, setting her bottle next to the chair.

Oliver rolled over, feeling the heat of the sun sink into his blankets. He blinked a couple times before successfully opening his eyes and pulled the clock towards him, not realizing how late it actually was. Not like it mattered, they usually ended up partying all night anyways. He yawned and scratched the back of his neck, taking a few minutes before actually getting up and walking towards the mirror. He pulled a pair of shorts on and ran his fingers through his hair a couple times, trying to make it look presentable, you know, for the ladies. He stepped into the bathroom to brush his teeth, and opened the door to walk into the kitchen. He opened the fridge, standing there for a minute before grabbing a beer and a peach, immediately taking a huge bite as the juice spilled down his chest. "Nice," he muttered, reaching for a napkin and cleaning the rest up. He popped open his beer and took a nice long swig. He was so happy it was summer.

Char's eyes fluttered open as the sunlight peeked through her curtains. She'd bought black-out curtains, hoping that they would block out the sun for the entire day. But, much to her disappointment, by mid-day, the sun usually found it's way through the cracks. Slowly, and reluctantly, she slid out of bed and headed towards the bathroom. Once she reached the bathroom, she flicked on the light and turned on the shower. Slipping out of her t-shirt and boy shorts, she stepped into the shower, sighing as the hot water hit her body. A hot shower always helped her when she woke up, which was usually mid-day. She rarely ever work up before noon. She took her time washing her body and hair, glad that the hot water didn't go out. Once finished, she stepped out, wrapping a fluffy around herself and shuffling down to the kitchen, her hair leaving a trail of water.

Luke yawned as he headed back from the diner. He'd woken up early, which was different for him, and decided to go out and get food for everyone. Glancing at his watch, he checked the time. He knew that the others would be awake by now 'hopefully'. As he walked, he glanced out at the beach and smiled, he was so happy that him and his friends made the trip out to the beach house. He loved being near the beach, waking up to the sounds of the ocean, and most of all, spending time with people that he genuinely enjoyed being around. As he got near the house, he spotted Opal sitting near the water."Hey, I bought food, it'll be in the kitchen when you come in", he yelled out, hoping she would hear. He turned and headed into the house.

Opal stared out at the water, thinking about her having to leave for college the next month. She had a hell of a summer, but she really didn't want to think about leaving her friends. Not only that, she was worried she wouldn't make it in to the big art show in the Fall. Opal was an art major and she always took so much pride in what she did. Hearing a faint male voice, she turned behind her and smiled when she saw Luke. "Alright, I'll be there in a sec," she said softly but vocally, standing up and grabbing her drink. She dragged her feet through the soft sand, opening the door to see a bunch of snacks on the counter. Grabbing a box of cheese-its, she munched away and sat on one one the barstools, looking up at Luke. "How long have you been up?

Luke set his drink down on the counter, grabbing a handful of cheese-its from out of the box Opal was holding. He shoved a bunch in his mouth, looking wide-eyed as he watched Char come down the stairs. He cleared his throat and looked down at his drink, smirking, "Good afternoon, Char." He was like a shy schoolboy when it came to girls, and Char made his heart-fluttered. He tried not to act so sensitive and romantic, but it was hard to hide sometimes. He tossed his peach pit into the garbage by shooting it basketball style. He wiped his mouth with his napkin and threw that over as well, missing. He walked over to the window and looked, squinting his eyes. "It's a scorcher out today."

Luke walked in and set the bag on one of the counters, glancing at Opal."Maybe an hour, hour and a half." He ran a hand through his hair and shrugged."Decided I'd do something nice and buy breakfast.." He grinned and pulled out some plates for them. "I was thinking that we could head out to this bonfire that one of the locals is throwing tonight.. it's supposed to be a rager.." He smirked."And there's free booze and food." He set out the plates on the table and grinned.

Char grinned as she walked into the kitchen. hearing Oliver."Good afternoon, Oli." She leaned on the counter and glanced up as Luke walked in."Ahh you're the best.. I'm starving.." She glanced out the window."Gotta make sure I put on sunblock today so i won't get burned again.." She giggled and shook her head, making water sprinkle everywhere. "Bonfire sounds fun.." She tightened her towel a bit and walked over to the table.
