to be my friend
almost all of my friends on this site are no longer active and I must admit I feel a bit out of place on this site as I have recently become more active after being offline on and off for maybe like 2 years
a bit about me:
I currently study food science, technology and sustainability and live with my friend and 2 strangers in a small apartment, but I'm moving in with my boyfriend in the summer. I play the saxophone, and last year I did it "professionaly" in the kings guard in norway. a very fun year! Aside from a big interest in music I enjoy drawing and reading, although the studies are taking up most of my free time at the moment!

I'll be accepting all friend requests please fire away

introduce yourself! or ask me a question dont be shy ;^)

I'm happy to share! it was a very special experience, I wasn't used to the military regime at all but adapting to it went over all expectation, and I made some of the best friends in my life. I got to know people like i've never done before, living on top of one another and all. I wasn't expecting a lot because of covid, but we were supposed to go to edinburg for the royal military tattoo, we obviously didn't go and went on a tour of northern and western norway instead, and that was a magical experience in itself. it is really strange to go from being a "nobody" and then suddenly people applaud you and tell you that you're sSO great just when you're walking past them in uniform on the street.

that sounds nice tho! glad you got some sort of tour still
and awff, but if you were picked to play in garden you've definitely deserved those compliments!

you played in korps growing up i assume, or? and did you always know you wanted to try out for garden or did that come as you got closer to that age?

I actually started playing a lot later than usual, in ungdomsskolen (high school?) and I practiced a lot to get up to the same level as people my age, I often doubted myself and I was almost certain I wouldn't get in even though I got really good feedback on my audition. I auditioned because I was originally going into the navy and I would rather spend my year playing music so I thought it wouldn't hurt and I got in!! I believe I have to work a bit more on believing in myself aha, but yeah I've been playing in korps since I began playing, do you play an instrument?

I'll just say that I can't help but think of your username as "mouth sea", since I'm reading it as 口海 (= kǒu hǎi, meaning mouth and sea respectively) in Chinese .

never heard that before! sounds cool, I must say I don't really feel a connection with my username anymore but at the same time I'm afraid to change it because I feel like it's the only recognizable thing about me on this site
