My love for drag started with RPDR but it truly blossomed when I found the local scene, the Dutch drag scene is insane and the experience you have at a local show is so much different than a rugirl show. idk, I just love my local girlies with all my heart hahah. But if you can, yiu definitely have to try it sometime - even if it's just once! It's a truly unique experience and you feel like you own the world (you own everythingggg)

Yvie, Vanjie, Brooke and Plastique are literally my top 4 of the season!

I have been to a local drag show once (hosted by Alice Rabbit at The Rabbit Hole) in Edinburgh, and it was really cool! I even ended up chatting with one of the queens that performed that night! I know there are local drag shows being hosted not too far from me, but I just need someone to go with me!

I watch and have watched a lot of tv series, but I am currently watching The Flash, Supergirl and Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists! Some of my favorite tv series are The 100, Orange Is The New Black and Orphan Black, including the shows I am watching now!

Ohh yeah I've heard from her! The vibes at a local show are just so unique. When I just started I was still a bit of an outsider, but as I went to more shows (usually in drag) I made friends & people got to know me & I got performing opportunities. The people I used to be sooo intimidated by are now some of my really good friends & when you kinda know the queens & the crowd the entire experience is entirely different. When my friends perform you bet I'm in the front row screaming THATS MY BABYYYY the entire time lmao. I would def go with you if I didn't live so far away, but honestly even though it's scary sometimes going alone can be cool too bc you can make a ton of new friends! Most queer people are friendly and open, same goes for queens except when they have a bit of an ego lol

I love The 100, OITNB & I still have to continue watching Orphan black!! My absolute fave is Lucifer followed by the vampire diaries (listen... it's a good show lmao), arrow & am currently watching the walking dead

yeah some days sure are like that. i too had one of those days today. i've been procrastinating and now i just wish i had been aborted 'cause i have a big and important exam tomorrow and i haven't studied for it. sigh.

that's normal! scorpio is your sun sign, but your entire personality gets shaped by different planets in different signs too! you can calculate your birthchart if you know the time you were born (on cafe astrology their website I believe) and then you get a list. for example you also have a moon sign, which tells you more about how you handle emotions etc. and every planet has it's own meaning. everything is really complicated but when I learned about that a wholeee new world opened for me, explained a lot haha. sorry im such an astrology hoe omg

Thank you so much! Gender studies seem so interesting to me! I don't know everything about it ofc bc I don't study it, but in the drag scene, my friend group and the queer scene in general gender & sexuality are such big and important topics so I'm constantly surrounded by conversations about it and I love to learn more about it (especially so I can support my non binary, gnc & trans friends to the best of my abilities!) what are your favorite series?

It is interesting for sure! I remember when I first started, after just a week I felt like a completely new world had opened up to me, it was really amazing. Unfortunately it feels like issues surrounding sexuality and trans issues haven't really been brought up that much in the courses I've had. Much of the course literature we read is very theoretical, and thus it seems like we never talk about real life experiences, which makes it kind of hard to apply any of the theory on everyday situations and to use them to combat things like homophobia and transphobia.

I love Wentworth, Sherlock and Bron/Broen (a Danish/Swedish series). I also really like Line of Duty. My favourite genre is definitely crime dramas.

I wish education in general would focus a little more on that

I don't really know those series except for Sherlock! also one of my faves that I forgot to mention earlier

honestly i don't know shit about astrology. i've tried to learn stuff about my birthchart but i just can't wrap my head around it. but yeah i do admire other people's knowledge of that stuff.

ya it takes hours and you want to enjoy the whole process and sip something while doing it and making it a self-care moment since it's so fun already.. at this point my drag is limited only to my makeup, wig, accessories and a nice outfit + shoes (no padding or cinching and sometimes i go without a wig and rock my shaved head) but it still takes hella time

parties and concerts and other fun stuff our student organizations do, we have so much events i can't even attend to everything

I'd love that! & trueeee I take so many breaks, in my opinion if you don't it gets stressful really fast, especially when things don't exactly work out the way you want to (when you can't get your brows even or whatever lmao) & that's sad bc it's supposed to be fun hahah. & there's nothing wrong with that! imo cinching/padding/wearing a wig doesn't make you a better dragqueen, stuff like 'if you're not wearing nails you're not doing drag' is bullshit. drag is whatever you want it to be & it's just reaaaally expensive so sometimes you just gotta work with what you got. I'm lucky my best friend is also a queen so we swap outfits/wigs a lot lol

i agree, it's sad that some people don't see the variety of drag and the fact that it's self expression and an art form and basically everything you want to be and create and do, it's all up to you. that sounds really nice!! i wish i had friends who do drag but nah, gotta keep looking

i know!! the events are so fun and aaah i'm always super excited when i know i get to go and party with my friends or do something crazy like have a limbo contest or jump on a bouncy ball in the middle of a cruise ship (?? lmao it was fun)

I haven't really tried those (but I've heard a lot of positive things about them!) except for the sims!! I'm obsessed with that lol, I'm currently playing 4 but I really miss the 'travel mode' from 3. I like csa better in 4 tho, much more detail

I wasted over a hundred dollars on all the expansion packs for sims 3 lol but yeah Sims 4 is amazing, too <3
