Haha yes i hope so. I was out in «praksis» idk the english word for it and it was so much fun, we was like «real teachers» for a month.

both, we learn both. But most norwegians has bokmĂ„l as their main language and nynorsk is just a pain in the ass tbh hahah. A lot of people ageee with me there, and some don’t. All my assignments in norwegian is in nynorsk :c yes very true, thats a big problem.! But it’s also some people with good grades as well from my experience

yes idk how i did it tbh, it’s extreme even for me. I did pass it, and it wasn’t the worst either. Hahah i like your way of doing exams hahah, a+ to you too hahaha
Oh, I remember those "teacher candidates" that came to school and held some lessons. I think you can call it internship (practice)?

Isn't bokmÄl almost like Danish, and nynorsk, in spite of it's name, more like "gammelnorsk"? Like more similar to Icelandic, the way it was before Danish influence? It's something about going back to the roots of the language, that's why you learn both, because bokmÄl is like "contaminated" by Danish, and nynorsk is more "pure". That's my guess at least.

Haha, thank you! I mean, I've never failed before, so I don't see why I should change my approach.
ooo yes, that's a good word for it, thank you! either way it was very fun and interesting.

yes bokmÄl is more inspired by danish writing and nynorsk is mostly inspired by dialects all around and a bit gammelnorsk. the languages got "verified" just with one year in between, nynorsk first and than bokmÄl. i think we learn both bc of history and bc i think it could be a bit problematic to just go over to one. I think nynorsk would die out if that happened

hahaha same here! i probably should fail once so i could make myself to do an effort
Ah, okay. Norwegian is such a weird language, like, if I search for dialect videos on Youtube, I'm like ??? All of them sound so different, how do you even understand each other? Reading (bokmÄl) is much easier, since I know both Danish and Swedish. Do you call the spoken language nynorsk and bokmÄl too? Like, would you say that you're speaking bokmÄl?

I have thought about that, haha. But grades are really important to me (or at least they were, when I was in high school), so failing is not an option. When will you be graduating?

i recently started to watch that '70s show (i'm slow i know) and i've been watching some rupauls drag race, but my fave movies is superhero movies. wbu?
ohyes that is so cool! i really like that
No worries, I haven't watched it, actually I'm not into action movies at all, for me horror, mystery, thrillers, fantasy and drama are my top genres. But I did watch Wonderwoman the other week, it was actually okay.

I'm actually thinking of making a lookbook on here with my outfits, they're inspired by those
yeah i get that. that's nice i'm not that into horror, mystery and thrillers but i get why people like it ahah. i might as well also mention that i like 80's (ish) chick flicks and like movies from the 50's and 60's

oooo YES DO IT. good idea!
Idk, there's something about the dark and mysterious I can't describe. I've never really been into movies from the 50's or 60's, I think it's because I haven't been exposed or shown any, can you recommend me your faves?

I will.. when I put together a cool outfit, most of the time I am too lazy, but other times it's like, BOOM IN YOUR FACE

hahah yes the dialects is kind of different, i don't always understand all of them tbh, i speak very simmular to how you write bokmÄl. the spoken language is just called norwegian and the dialects is named after where they're from. BokmÄl and Nynorsk is just written languages. You can't really say that you speak bokmÄl no, but it's very simmular to how people "with out" dialect/form areas closer to oslo speak.

grades used to be very important to me, but i've always just got good grades without too much effort (like i did an effort but not like too much) and now i'm good as long as i get average grades haha.
i'm only on my first year (and it's soon over and where did the time go??) so i'm graduating in 2022

Oh, I see. Is that like how Skavlan speaks? He's my only reference for how Norwegian sounds. XD I think there's just much more variation between Norwegian dialects than there are in Swedish. I rarely hear more than like two-three different dialects so I can't know for sure, but I don't think I'd have any problems with understanding most of the dialects here. Except maybe if I were to encounter some old lady who lives in a farm somewhere far out in the countryside who speaks in some kind of weird dialect...

That sounds like one of my friends. He was my classmate in high school, and he basically didn't put in any effort, but still got A's in almost all subjects. It was kind of annoying when he'd go like "I haven't even read the book", and then he got an A on the assignment about that book. I stopped caring about grades when I took a course in political science last year. I got bad grades, so after that I was basically just like, "Well, f*ck it!" and stopped caring. Oh, so your education is 5 years?

I can see that you're talking about eating, what kind of food do you like?

I'm Marlene, but I prefer being called Mae. I'm 18. And I'm also from Norway! Ayyyy!

Uhh my interests are sleeping, eating, napping, relaxing, chilling... but also drawing and playing games.
I'm not the most social person ever.
aaaand I tend to get in my head a lot and I make myself anxious -> which then leads me to distancing myself from my "friends".
Mmmmmmmmyeh that's pretty much it

Ahh, i’ve never been a fan of the mesmer class, or not playong it myself. I’ve played as a guardian and ranger i think. Yes it’s kind of hard (and a bit boring at times), i only think it’s fun if you play with other people.

ooo that’s nice, she seems fit to be a teacher. What do you want to do after your gap years? If you know yourself
aa this bit was about soul worker i read through what i wrote and realized it could easily be misunderstood woops (idk if u did but )

one thing for sure, is that i wanna study more english and perhaps another language ? i really love studying languages !! i also really wanna get better at art, bc i wanna start making comics !! (not as a full-time job just as a hobby tho) and ive also thought of studying in other countries, such as finland since my bf lives there, theres so many options and i really dont know what to pick (why i took another gap year) what subjects do u wanna teach in? if i do decide to become a teacher id love to teach in english !!
i think i just forgot to answer that part hahaha i was on my phone so i sometimes fail a bit heh. but the game sounds interesting, i'm going to check it out.

i have to teach norwegian and math, math is good, but i don't like norwegian too much haha. And next year i'm going to take art and after that either english or science
