I've only ever actually completed Dream Drop Distance (on my way to completing Birth by Sleep) but I know the story for all games because I couldn't help but read about it xD
I'm in a slow process of playing them all in chronological order - hence BBS
Birth by Sleep is my favourite :3
So far, Chain of Memories is my least because of the card system but also because I played the Gameboy advanced version. Now me and my sister have the remixes, I can play the PlayStation version!
you are missing out because DDD is by far my least favorite one
KH 2 is the best imo
I've played it but got extremely stuck on Demyx and then I just got really angry every time I heard "Dance Water! Dance!"
I think I did beat him but got stuck again xD
KH2 is really great but I decided I wouldn't try it again until I finished KH1, Chain of Memories and, at least, the cutscenes of 358/2 Days (it's only the cutscenes on the remixes. I have the DS game but... Got stuck. XD).
(KH1 I got right to the end - fighting Ansem on Destiny Islands... Then got stuck
I'm an abomination, I know, but it's still one of my favourite game series' ever haha)
I really enjoyed kh2 too, but you have to agree that DDD has a great soundtrack though. I usually played when I was calling my boyfriend and he'd help me out with the tough fights, but guides really help if you're stuck. The tip I have for 2 is that you should really level up your forms when you can, especially limit and valor. I never really used the character links, but from what I've heard my bf complain about is that chicken little is useless
