Agreed. It would help develop a level of trust that I think is a bit lacking, right now.
plus understanding, since we don't really see people slowing down to explain why they're doing something, especially that topic with mods deleting topics :/ this site should have something to announce that so after the topic is deleted, we can still see why
That would be a great way to teach people how to effectively talk to one another. I love that idea!!
XD like maybe not so personal (like a site-wide message), but maybe a box on the main page with the titles of the deleted topic which link to a written explanation. It's more work for the mods, but it also means they'll have something to do, AND it helps calm the backlash against their main work

Yeah, that would be perfect. I think it might teach people to think before they speak and such. Hopefully, they'd learn from it.

If I might add something: Is is possible for the mods to lock a thread? On gsm it was possible for them to lock a thread and then write why it was being locked? :) That might help. :)

And I like your idea with the team. :d

This is how it always has been but sometimes its forgotten or the whole thread was moved except they are suppose to mail the author of the thread.

I think the front page feature may be a little much. If people can't follow the rules that much where it has to be spotlighted that much, we have a whole different issue on the matter.

Alright, I did not know that. Then a reminder to the mods could maybe do it? As far as it goes for deleting threads, atleast. :)

I am still pretty new, so I don't really know how bad it gets here or the whole course of the problem. :)

Hm... Yeah :/ I didn't think about that. Maybe in the social page or in one of the forum tabs?

Still seems odd. I would understand if it was for the mods to see what is locked as an overall so when asked anyone could answer. That would be nice as a communication basis.

That would be good too XD maybe a page where only mods have access to (like the daily news/comp tab regular players can't see) and they could refer to that for info

That's a nice thought. But it would be hard to really regulate bias bc that's a really basic human thing.

" We'd look for mature, professional people, unbiased against all, and great at observing and analyzing situations. We'd need subtlety, calmness, and the courage to do the right thing without the fear of being oppressed by others.  "

And mods/admin are (hopefully) already supposed to be like that? So if you feel like they aren't.... why would this group be any different?

I do like the idea about a team that's more focused on counseling and talking to people/breaking up fights and stuff. And just being nice in general haha.
kinda this

and i mean why should it be a team?
why can't it be just a bunch of people in general :'p
