would it not be detrimental to bidding or threads? like
you'd know who blocked who by having an account where no one was blocked, just to keep track of the bids or raffle numbers, anything really
making convos confusing as well

maybe make it more complex by blocking on certain types of forums?

i'm talking about mods banning folks from threads tho, not the creator of the thread themselves. the mods here go by strict guidlines when they actually do something so i doubt one would ban you from a thread over a non issue like that

i was thinking that with this,  ppl were talking about like not being able to see the blocked player's comments at all, like erased completely from view, so definitely, i dunno how that would even work D: like
if someone blocked you, but in a thread your friend quoted you, so now how does that even show up on the person-who-blocked-you's page?

point is if someone believed in a certain thing, then they could block all others who disagree
i know lots of users in particular who get really upset over anything that could be seen as anti-trans or anti-gay
and they would literally block anyone they percieve to be anti-trans or anti-gay in mass from being able to comment
which some people might think is good,
but if it were to be something less controversial or more on the other side, like
somebody banned all people from commenting who didn't agree that global warming was fake
then it could be really really bad

but i'm sure the mods would handle it on a case-by-case like you said!!
