i agree with sarah though.
i think that if everyone had the option to see it would either be useful to negotiate on prices OR create unnecessary drama when a price is too high or the seller if getting messaged about an item constantly.

And people like Mods and admins would have access to the username, which could be useful in a situation like what happened today.
I've been on a good number of games which have a marketplace feature - with shown usernames, though there aren't too many people like that (there probably would be even less in this game, since it's not the most gigantic community), some people just begin sending messages like "Plz lower" and "why aren't you responding" and it even becomes worse if they get turned down. Granted - if a system like this would be used, it wouldn't stop the messages - but at least the people wouldn't have access to the seller's profile, so areas like the guestbook and blogs would be safe.
