yes, but he's been this way since the site opened - at least in my experience, he's been like this for 2 years.
The only good thing that's happened in that time? Startalk - and I'm like 85% sure that was only pushed further because Kim wanted it.

My point is, it was more mean than nice, it was more useless snark than actual critique. OF course he locked the thread. Ya'll were literally bullying the guy. There were only about five people there who were being mature about the situation. 

Maybe if we actually critiqued instead of just being mean it would have gone differently?

I don't know. As long as I have been here people have been downright mean to the guy and that clearly isn't working either.
