Reset avg and make DM/Manager more expensive

After this discussion I think I have an idea how we can atleast try to make the VP inflation better. This might not work, but I think it MIGHT be a good idea?

Reset all the average values and make diamond membership and manager more expensive until the economy on vp is more balanced. 

If we reset all the average values, we will have a fresh start and people will stop paying outrageous prices for items since everyone is selling their items for average.
The average values will probably get really high after a while because of all the bidding wars and because of people paying alot for items they want, but if average values got resetted on a regular basis every once in a while it could atleast help a little bit to point us in the right direction while buying new items?

Basically everyone who has alot of credits buy diamond membership and manager on a regular basis, and if we temporairly increase the price people will lose more credits and there will be a better balance with credits around those who has a lot of credits.

CONCLUSION: Making it cost more to buy DM/Manager is a bad idea since it will make people who want it unable to afford it. 


What do you guys think? How else do you think we could solve this problem? Give me your ideas and opinions

I think a avg reset could maaybe work but I bet a lot of people would remember the old values and still charge at that rate.

This depends a lot on how wanted an item is, not everyone goes necessarily after how many ig there are.

But then the rich would still be getting more and rarer items while the poor would be left having just as many problems getting rares as before

that was the opposite to what i was writing. I said that i thought it could be a good idea since the rich people are the ones who need to lose credits, but that i realized it was a bad idea since everyone should be able to afford diamond membership.
