I did a topic on this a while back, but I had a few tweaks I wanted to add to it before bringing it up again.
As I'm pretty sure a lot of you know, it's been four months, and Kim still hasn't even said anything about adding extra diamond sets for males, even though when she first released the bonuses she said that females would be the only ones to get the bonus "for now". This means that, if males were to buy DM, they would be paying extra for a reward that they don't even get.
I know there's a lot of things that could be keeping her from adding extra sets, but there's also plenty of ways to make sure that male accounts don't get screwed over without bringing extra sets in. These are just a few suggestions I personally had, but I would love extra input.
-Remove the bonus female sets until males get sets as well.
I personally don't think this one is fair, since it means both parties get screwed out of money. If the female bonus sets were to be removed, I would also want the prices to be set back to the way they were before, that way nobody gets ripped off.
-Fix prices for males.
Again, I see this one causing a lot of arguments, but why should you pay extra for something you're not even going to get? This would obviously be a 'until the prizes come in' sort of thing.
-Make the bonus sets a donation bonus.
This would be sort of like how at grocery stores, they ask you if you want to pay a little extra to donate money to charity. Instead, once you buy DM, you could offer to pay more money to get the bonus sets, that way if you want DM but don't want to pay more for sets you don't want, you don't have to!
-Rerelease old items, and use those until the actual bonus DM items come out.
To clarify, the only old DM sets I would want rereleased are the ones with 1ig. Seeing as there's currently at least 20 DM items that only have 1ig (that 1 owner being Kaj), it would give male users an opportunity to buy a piece of VP history without completely ruining the item's rarity (the most recent DM set has only 26ig, meaning that rereleasing the old items would only add a handful to the game).
