Lauren Katherine Conrad was born on February 1,  1986, is an author, fashion designer, and actress. She was born in Laguna Beach, California to her parents Jim and Kathy. She has a younger brother and sister named Brenna and Brandon. At age six, she knew she wanted to be a fashion designer.

 

 Lauren's first fashion line was called "Paper Crown" based on a game her grandmother and her played when she was younger. This was later an established line under "The Lauren Conrad Collection"

 

I nominate Lauren as our designer of the month. She has inspired so many other girls, besides me, and has showed that "different" is a good thing.  Lauren is truly an inspiration
