I will notify everyone when the contest begins and what the theme is
It is free to enter
There will be 10 contestants
There will be 10 rounds
Each round will last 3 days, unless all contestants posted their entry before the deadline
Every round there will be 1 or more people eliminated (if you do not post by the deadline you are automatically eliminated)
I, Brittni aka girlinthemirror will be the ONE and ONLY judge (I will not be choosing people based on my relationship with them)
Also when you sign up, you will use that same post to post your entry

Rounds:
Each round will have a different theme
If you want to move on to the next round STICK with the THEME

2 Things:
Post your avatar (look above for where to post your entry)
Chose 1 thing that you are wearing and tell me why you chose that item for the theme

Here is my Valentine's Day outfit. No pink, no hearts; because it just ain't gothic. I wanted to make something that is feminine + romantic with a dark, mysterious allure; something like a Victorian love story (Ah, I love gothic.....). The rich, uptight honour roll/ private school girl that takes school rules very seriously; who is both studious and cautious of the air she gives off, hence her neat and tidy appearance. The square glasses and cold-emotion face add an intellectual sharp look, a trademark for the honour roll student. Tied-up hair to represent her rigid personality. I chose black as the main colour because it is a mature colour. I don't think vests look good with a short skirt so I added a jacket in to give it that neat, high-class look. They don't have any buttoned blazers here

Hair and Hat: I imagine the hair to be a straw blonde or brown colour. With flowers in it (wild flowers = country; that's for me of course). I wanted it to be long and untied to express the freedom that exist out in the country. The feathers are there to express that too, and the birds that live in the country.

Top and Vest: When I hear country girl, I think of plaid-pattern clothing usually with a thin or leather jacket; usu. loose clothes.

Pants and Shoes: I think of boots and a whole-leg covering for country peeps. You will be walking through long grass and stuff; don't want the creepy-crawlies up your legs.

Other: Gloves, just ones up to your wrist. Country peeps do a lot of manual labour. Make-up to give the face a brighter sunny look; reminds you of the golden afternoons and wheat. Butterflies and flower to imitate the fields.

Good luck in my contest; there is still about 2 days till it ends!.
The reason why I chose the items; the hat and jacket is from your blog. The hair is chosen because it's something like the Snow Queen's hair. Make-up and leggings for a darker look. Singlet + shorts because its kinda like that dress (?) on your blog. Shoes to match the outfit and give it that edgy hipster look.
