| My VP Story |
| I will add more to this as the time I spend on here grows longer. ♥ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I joined virtual popstar on the first day with the username Constellations and I was one of the first 100 users. I was so happy to be a part of virtual popstar. I wanted to be on the news team, promotion team, be a moderator..be like, the best on VP. But of course, dreams like that can't always come true. I got on the promotion team on January 6th, 2013. I had to spam my voting link on omegle and it was hard work. I was very happy. I went for news team the first time and I remember I was on vacation when I had gotten my NT badge. I was so happy, screaming and yelling and jumping up and down. That was so amazing for me and I was so happy. In March 2013, they held moderator applications. I of course went for the job and I really thought that I would make it as a moderator. When they released the new moderators a couple weeks later, I didn't make it. I was really upset, but later on I was told it was because of my age. A 10 year old couldn't be a moderator. I sort of understood that..not all the way, though. To this day, I still hope I can become a moderator sometime. (: I celebrated my birthday on here, April 3rd. I got so many happy birthday wishes and it was awesome. And Cindy even gave me a special little gift. I adore her for that. My birthday was just an amazing day, and it wouldn't be as amazing without VP. Later on, I didn't have my news team badge. This was in like the end of May 2013. I was super upset about that and I wanted my mom to even email the Admin about that because I loved the news team so much and that was practically the only reason that I played the site. The news team taught me so much about writing and I learned teamwork through the news team. I made some new friends and had a lot of fun. I guess I wouldn't be on it forever, though. When school got out (end of 5th grade) on June 10th, I told myself I wouldn't spend my summer on the Internet. I wanted to be a normal kid with a normal life offline. So I tried that and I of course failed. Why? Because the people here are so special to me and I just couldn't live without VP. On June 24th, 2013, VP had changed a lot. There was a lot of commotion going on in the forum threads about people faking their identities and it all scared me. People were also giving about a bunch of personal information that day. I didn't understand it all, and I wasn't sure what to think. I felt like that the people who were on gSm in 2011 (thank you for corrections, guys) had some commotion like this with like GGG and stuff. I wasn't there to see it, couldn't compare. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My time on VP has been a complete mix of feelings but VP sure has taught me a lot and I'm glad. ♥ |
