Avengers is like.. it appeals to a wide audience and it's arguably among the very few franchises (Marvel that is) that gets people to the cinema in an age where people choose to stream rather than pay the price of one month of streaming to see something when it's new. 

I mean, capitalist measures as highest grossing movie doesn't say anything about the quality of the movie but rather its overall appeal to the masses. There are probably a tonne of movies which are of higher artistic quality than Avengers Endgame. I might sound extremely critical now, I actually loved Avengers Endgame, but it's nowhere close to the best I've seen. It just appeal to the masses and it's currently what people enjoy seeing. It's very "lavterskel"

I did enjoy it tho, I cried and it's a very decent movie. I just find it hard to believe that the highest grossing movie of all time will ever be the one of highest quality.

I don't understand it, it's like.. a very basic love movie with a straight couple who can't get each other because of socioeconomic status at the time and then he dies which is very easy to tell the first 5 minutes of the movie. Of course the poor scoundrel have to suffer so the rich, privileged woman will suffer her entire life like oh no my dear Jack. Tragic.

Taste is objective, the best movies I've seen has never been close to highest grossing as they only appeal to very narrow audiences e.g. "Finnish people" or "Norwegians" or ofc "homosexuals"

It's still in the theatres only to beat avatar. I mean it came out around 24th April. It's 3 months!! Like damn hahha 

I can't really say avengers is my kinda thing. It gets to a point where it's too much. But I still liked it. I'm kinda split hahah. But as I've said. Didn't imagine that they would hit the top out of all movies

which ones? i know there's obviously better movies than the titanic, but i just love that movie cuz it is very accurate like they did a great job with how the ship looked and what happened when it sunk and all and i love kate and leo sad
