Some people won't be happy till anyone agrees with their opinion it seems :/

I am not neurotypical, but they did not know that/it wasn't relevant, related to the subject, it was meant as an insult in order to  deny me any credibility and maturity. I'm okay with people not 'believing' in my gender identity (or absence of said), but calling me mentally ill because of it crosses a line.
this is tru      and unfortunately some people never learn that not everyone will agree,  even in adult hood    its just a fact of life lol

ur right, using it as an insult isnt ok nd i agree with u.
We need basic morals to match in order to function as a society, but a part from that, everyone is free to have an own opinion.
well, without some sort of moral code it would just be anarchy   no society at all really    haha

Anarchy doesn't necessarily mean an absence of shared morals tho, just an absence of power

i would say if everyone had absolute freedom there would be no shared morals really

but a better word would be chaos

I think Anomy would be absolute chaos and absence of moral norms, but the terms get mixed up quite a lot.

i dont really understand separating romance and sexuality

they go together ,  whether you have a low/no sex drive or not,  theyre integrally linked and unless you have 0 romantic attraction and 0 interest in or response to physical sensual touch, you have a sexuality no matter how little part it has in your life

im convinced oversexualisation and pornification of society is just making people feel outcast when they dont live up to the horny porno stereotype thats integrated all forms of media, leaving them feel that theres something missing or that they dont have a sexuality when in fact their sexuality and drive is extremely normal,  and the pornified mass exemplar is the one thats out of the ordinary

ok im just ranting here     i dont know the answer to ur problem
honestly I agree

I have been accused of asexuality but I'm not asexual at all! I just seem so prude and chaste. I could be seen by some as "demisexual" because I really don't feel comfortable with one-night-stands and stuff. I've tried and yeah. I can do FwB but there needs to be a connection there. It just feels awkward and odd otherwise.

Demisexual is not a sexuality; it is a preference. People are trying to conflate orientation with preference and I think this is a mistake. It seems people are focused on inclusion and validation and identity to the point of defying logic. It's fine to be tolerant but when we focus on acceptance to the point of ignoring sexism, rape culture and the general over-sexualization of society, we are missing the big picture.

It's ok if you're not hyper-sexual! As someone with a low sex drive, I understand how you feel outcasted and might be pressured into stuff you're not interested in. How about address those issues in the first place (especially the sex and porn industry itself and how it pushes people to feel like they need to have a lot of sex and do it in the right and proper way, which is often not even good anyway!)  instead of twist things around to feel "accepted!" I get what people are trying to do but it's superficial imo.
