or i'm actually good at getting friends n stuff. 
but i'm not good at like deeper friendship connections, like i've never had an actual best friend and not that many close friends.

hm i understand what you mean. its normal to take on different roles with different situations and people but i also think what other people think of you shoudnt impact the way you are deep down
after all you cannot please everyone and people disliking you for some unknown reason isnt always your fault (and ultimately the issue of those people)

i've spent years among depressed individuals so I've learned to recognize what's depression talk and symptoms and what's not :) I just generally ignore the self hate my brain is trying to feed me and my friends are a big help with that so I'm doing alright (at least for now) !

omg i know this so well, i have so many fleeting friendships bot often feel lost when i really need to hug someone or talk some things out and with a lot of my friends im often shy to ask if theyre okay with me venting my problems and stuff
but i also try to reach out bc i think maybe they do want to help me if they knew i was unhappy i should let them know and give them a chance to be there for me (bc i would wanna know if they were unhappy)
