Happy Tuesday everyone! Now it's time for a small tutorial/how-to. Enjoy!
How to Give Yourself a Good Manicure
Do you like to paint your nails? Do you have those days when you want to chill out and relax? Well, what could be better than a manicure? A nice hand massage..sounds great for that sort of day! Here are some steps you can take to give yourself a manicure. You might need a friend to do it for you to have the maximum of some steps, so I would recommend having a friend with you.
- Prepare yourself. You should get some kind of table ready. Put down paper towels and then get a bowl of water with some soap. Get the desired colors of nail polish with the top/base coat and some hand lotion. For those of you who have a quick-dry small system, I would suggest bringing that out.
- Soak one hand in the bowl of water adding some soap. Wait about 30-45 seconds, then take your hand out. Put your other hand in the bowl and do the same process. Dry your hands off.
- Put the hand lotion on one hand and give it a massage for as long as you'd like. Then repeat the process with the other hand.
- Put the base coat on one hand, then on the other. Wait about 20 seconds for it to dry off. Try to blow on it to make it dry faster. Next, put on the desired color(s) of nail polish. After you wait about 20 seconds from completing the color(s), put on the top coat.
- Let your nails dry.
Now you have some great nails!
Take a picture of your nails (whether you did this process or not) and mail the picture to Skai. The best nails will win 5k and have their nails featured in next week's Tuesday article! This ends on Monday. Feel free to share the picture of your nails in the comments, too!
