  • Cameron Lyle, a track athlete at the University of New Hemisphere risked sacrificing his athletic career in order to save a stranger with blood cancer's life. In order to donate the bone marrow, he had to miss crucial track meets but chose to do it anyway - all for a stranger.

  • This past week a wildfire in South California raged through 43 miles, it started in Point Mugu State Park when two old houses starting burning. However, cooler weather trickled in yesterday and calmed the fire, to the relief of many residents. Damages are estimated to be over $200,000.

  • Katherine Russel, wife of the now dead Tamerlan Tsarnaev is being suspected of being an accomplice to the Boston Marathon bombings that shocked the nation. Reportedly, the home-made bombs were made in Tamerlan's home shared with Russel. The FBI is seeking to question Russel.

  • Saudi Arabia, a nation known for its oil - and suppressing womens' rights is allowing women in private schools to play certain sports for the first time with limitations based on Islamic law.

  • Keira Knightley married her partner of three years James Righton yesterday in Southern France. It was a small and modest ceremony with only a few guests present. Congratulations!
