Hey you guys, it's Mice and I'm gonna be spooking you today!
I'm going to be writing about a newly sparked interest of mine *drum roll* Five Nights At Freddy's! Some of you may have heard it, watched play-throughs, played it yourself or just read up on it. I wanted to tell you guys about my theories about the animatronics in the game, the 5 original ones; Freddy, Golden Freddy, Foxy, Chica and Bonnie.
Spoilers ahead for those who haven't gotten to at least Five Nights At Freddy's 3.
A little background story. Freddy Fazbear was a restaurant that did really well. It was a restaurant that had entertainment for children and families would often go there and eat. It went well as mentioned, until one day kids began disappearing. 5 kids were kidnapped, and Freddy Fazbear slowly but surely became more and more run down. After a while, no one would go there. The animatronics that were once there as entertainment became broken and rusty.
NOW, there's a lot of places to start, but I want to start with a confusing part.
The animatronics could walk around at night, but not at day. It wasn't always like, the theory or actually a confirmed theory tells us it's the Bite of '87 did so they couldn't do that anymore. The Bite of '87 is a bit complicated and I haven't managed to understand it completely yet, so I won't be talking about the specific event, but this did so that the animatronics could no longer walk during the day. Only at night.
The children! What happened to them? The kidnapped children are theorized to have been killed by a previous night guard at Freddy Fazbear, a night guard who goes by Purple Guy. How is it known that he is the killer? It's not, but it's a huge theory and more or less confirmed as in FNAF 3, you get mini-games and in each mini-game, you're a different animatronic. You die in every single one of them. This, to me, confirms that Purple Guy kidnapped and killed these 5 children. The souls of the children got into the animatronic and they became bloodthirsty, but who can blame them? They were just murdered for no apparent reason.
For those of you who don't know, in FNAF, you play as a night guard called Jeremy Fitzgerald. The goal is to survive from 12 am to 6 am. During the night, the animatronics comes by to say hey or try to murder you, but why do they want to murder the night guard? The previous theory above might've explained it, but the souls of these children are furious. They're not happy. So, what are they gonna do? They try to kill you because a night guard of previous events killed them. They want revenge. That's why they're coming for you, so watch out!
A last one! Where is Purple Guy know, is he alive? Like, did he vanish? Is he even still alive, is he there? The answer is like an 80% no. Purple Guy got the animatronics after him because he obviously did something really bad. Purple Guy had seen this animatronic that was dusty and 'springy'. Springs were sticking out everywhere. Despite that, there was supposed to be a way you could get inside the animatronic and survive*, a button you could push so the space would open up inside the suit. Purple Guy got in and guess what? The suit failed him, so the springs wouldn't extract outside of the suit, but rather they did the opposite. The body of Purple Guy was crushed inside of the Spring Trap suit, he died and his soul got stuck, so his soul would make the animatronic alive. He would also go after night guards. I have no idea why he would do that, though. Guess he was just a sucker for murdering people.
*In reality, no one was supposed to wear an animatronic or get inside a suit of it without dying because of the small space. The Spring Trap suit was especially dangerous because of the springs.
