February is Black History Month, and we are going to celebrate. BHM was first celebrated in 1926 and it was started by Carter Woodson and the Association of Negro Life and History. This was because at that time black Americans were going through hardships of discrimination and it was time to be nice to them. Remember that you are special and unique and also very awesome no matter what skin color you are!

Since we are popstars, we are going to be discussing some famous black popstars at that time that were an inspiration.

♥ Janet Jackson fun facts - Most of her songs represented her skin color and her being a girl, for example her song "Nasty" which was about the comments people made on her. Her older brother is Michael Jackson. She performed at the Superbowl of 2004.

♥ Ella Fitzgerald fun facts - She married 3 times. She knew how to play the piano. One of her nicknames was the First Lady of Song.

♥ Aretha Franklin fun facts - She was born in March of 1942. She started off singing in church, but it wasn't specifically the special type of "church music", it turned into a bit of soul. Respect was a name on one of her signature songs.

Why did you join VP?
I wanted to see all my friends from gSm and talk to them again and have the community back together.
What do you enjoy the most about VP?
I think just the community. I love seeing how we get along and talk to each other and help and just how we get along so well. We pull each other out of ditches (that's a metaphor, as far as I'm concerned nobody has fallen into a ditch yet) and we're always there to lend a hand. I love how we work together.
How did you find VP?
From gSm on the Polish server. People in the Cosmo club were posting about the new English server coming up so I just had to join (and frankly, I don't regret it).
What's your opinion on VP?
I think it's wonderful and pretty well done. They keep on getting better with all the new things to do and the idea in the first place was wonderful. I can't wait to see what comes next.
What would you like to see in the future with VP?
I don't know, there are so many ideas out there. I'd love to see something like designing and new games (like ones that fit with the site, such as having to click notes that appear on the screen or something for singing). And a few new shops for other countries wouldn't be too shabby. But there are tons out there as well and more coming. I can't wait to see what they do.
