New York fashion week officially comes to a close... but fear not, September is only seven months away! Lets take a look at the trends for Fall/Winter 2013! After all, who should set the trends if the fashion power houses don't?

Leather was definitely trending, from BCBG to Tommy Hilfiger, to CZAR, it appeared countless times on the runway this season. The leather and fur has caused many controversies, with animal rights activists and animal lovers lashing out at designers, stating it is unethical; which again brings up the question should designers steer clear of real fur and leather?

Fur is another big one, it graced the runways of BCBG, Diane von Furstenberg, Carolina Herrera, and many others.
