The Mega Credit Week of November began really early this time, it actually started on October 24th and ended on October 30th. This was to make sure there would be a Halloween MCW before Halloween but unfortunately, this meant that there was no actual Mega Credit Week in November. We got some really well-made and beautiful Halloween sets and according to the poll in the MCW thread, the favourite set this month was the €24 set by Klavier. You can find all the sets in this forum.
A very exciting thing happened this month! On November 2nd, ET revealed the applicants chosen to become new members. Aria, Caprisun, Clavicle and Kuunsirpale were chosen to become hosts, Tsuyu as a layouter, and ShadowJess and Duchess as designers for the team. Contrary to the last ET applications, there was no bootcamp this time around, so the new members are ‘real’ members from the start. We have already seen many new and exciting competitions and beautiful layouts and designs, and we are very excited to see the future events as well. Best wishes and many congrats to the new members!
November was filled with a multitude of different competitions to participate in. The majority of the competitions were dress-up based, so for those who fancy these competitions there were a wide range of themes to explore. ET hosted six different dress-up competitions, while SMT hosted two. In addition to the eight dress-up competitions, ET hosted three other competitions, thus the final number of competitions in November landed at nine.
In ET’s Autumn vibes competition, the users were tasked with dressing up in comfy clothes and with an animal companion, the winning prize in this competition was an outfit. Following this competition you could travel to Tokyo with ET, and create an outfit inspired by the famous streets of Shibuya in Let's Keep Walking, winners were rewarded with an outfit (female) or 200 cr (male). In the following dress-up competition, ET had not quite yet left Japan, and in Otakus Unite! VPers had the chance to dress up as their favourite character from manga or anime, or any character really as long as they provided a reference picture showing who they were dressing up as. The prize for winning was an outfit (same outfit for both male and female). Additionally, ET hosted a third Japan related competition, but in this VPers were tasked with guessing Who's that Pokemon?, a rather self-explanatory concept for everyone familiar with Pokemon. In this competition, too, the prize was outfits (both female and male).
In ET’s Music Video Star the VPers were urged to create an outfit inspired by their favourite music video, while in Game Night Dressup the objective was to dress-up related to games. In both of these competitions the prizes for winning were outfits. The remaining two ET competitions were First to . . ., where the first one to quote the question with the right answer won 15 credits (maximum 3 wins per user), and Your turn to roll in which the objective was to create a fantasy character using one of the avatar creators provided and making a short bio for the character, the prize in this competition was an outfit (female) or 200 cr (male). In both competitions in which the males could win 200 cr, they could optionally receive the female outfit to claim on a side account.
Finally, the two SMT competitions were the monthly WWIB, and a dress-up competition in which the VPers were to dress up as Your Drink Of Choice, the winning prizes were an item and an outfit respectively (for both females and males).
