"I read almost every day. Favorite book is definitely 1984, but I'm a big fan of Crime and Punishment and The Brothers Karamazov and The Gambler. I also just read "The Stranger" and I enjoyed it a lot tbh, might be one of my favorites too." - Pushkin

Books. It's not what most teenagers of our generation find as a fulfilling way to fill their free time, but as ]Carl Sagan once said, "A book is proof that humans are capable of working magic". Growing up, I was always an avid reader and made frequent visits to my local library and local Borders and would always fill my basket with everything from the Bailey School Kids to Magic Tree House. Here is a list of my personal recommendations for Young Adult novels!
 
If you like fantasy...
Fantasy is my favorite genre, whether it be in books, TV, or movies, so this one is an easy one!
 
- The Iron Fey Series by Julie Kagawa (this was my first book love! :D - my rating: 5/5)
- Study Series by Maria V. Snyder (my rating: 5/5)
- Graceling by Kristin Cashore (my rating: 4/5)
 
If you like paranormal...
- Blood of Eden Series by Julie Kagawa (also dystopian - my rating: 5/5)
- House of Night Series by PC & Kristen Kast (my rating: 4/5)
- Nevermore by Kelly Creagh (my rating: 5/5)
 
If you like contemporary...
- Cursed by Jennifer L. Armentrout (also paranormal - my rating: 3.5/5)
