Summer is coming up soon, and now's the time that you get fit and ready for summer. Now remember, everyone is ready for the summer, no matter how small of a stomach you have or how big your legs are. Please don't feel like you have to be a specific size for summer. <3
- Make goals for yourself. How much will you exercise per week? What foods will you try to get more of and what foods will you eat less of? What exercises will you do? Have a specific to-do list that you can follow to help reach whatever goal you have.
- Eat healthy. Fruits and vegetables are going to benefit you more than cookies and Cheetos. It's okay to cheat a little with junk food, but don't let the cheating go too far. Rather than focusing on calories, focus on what you're putting inside your body, you don't want a lot of sugars in your body for one thing.
- Exercise! Go outside for a run, take a bike ride around the neighborhood, go for a walk with your dog, anything works! Look up some specific exercises for parts of the body you want to focus on.
- Keep track of your food. Use the SuperTracker (click here) to help you see what kinds of foods your getting from the food pyramid, your sugars, calories, and everything like that.
- HAVE FUN! Getting fit is a way to have some fun while accomplishing goals of being healthy for yourself. Don't do exercises you aren't comfortable with or eat fruits or veggies that you don't like, make sure everything is right for you!
