Hey guys! We are finally back! Since my catering exams are coming up and I'm making pizza once a week to get it perfect I thought I would share my recipe with you.
Here is what you need: 250g strong flour 1/2 tsp of salt 1 sachet of quick acting dried yeast 1/2 tsp of sugar 125-130 ml of hand hot water 1 tbsp oil
Toppings: 1 tin of tomatoes and 1 tbsp of tomato puree 100g grated cheddar cheese and or mozzarella Salt, pepper, pinch of herbs (you can use what ever toppings you want but I'm going to use the items below) A generous amount of peperoni and ham
How to make the pizza deliciousness:
Place your flour, yeast, salt and sugar into a bowl
Add your oil and warm water to the flour mix and mix with a knife until it forms a dough.
Take the dough and kneed on a floured surface for about five minutes until elastic and smooth.
Shape your dough so it will fill your tray and then place it onto your tray (if you want a nice crispy bottom grease the bottom of your tray with oil) using a rolling pin.
Leave the dough to prove while you get your toppings ready.
Make your sauce by mixing your tinned tomatoes and tomato puree together.
Grate your cheese
Get your dough and spread your sauce on.
Put your toppings on however you like.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the base is cooked.
And there you have it, that's how you make your simple pizza.
I'm going to hold a little competition in the comments, tell me the most strangest pizza toppings you have ever had. I will announce the winner in my next article and they will win 1k pd. Good luck!
