Lately, lots of new users have joined VP and so far there's been positive comments. As they are new, they may need some help around the site. If you are a newbie, read this, it can help a lot! If you aren't, whenever you see a newbie, try to help them out and welcome them. (:

How do I earn fans?
Fans are like the points on VP, as you may know. There are lots of different ways to earn fans. You can perform, donate pd (see below), take singing/dancing lessons, spread your voting link, log on through a social media site, play competition games, or go on tour to get fans. Some of these also give popdollars which you can see below.

How do I earn popdollars/credits? What are they?
Popdollars and credits are currencies of VP used to purchase items and get featured stuff on occasion. Popdollars can be earned by performing, spreading your vote link, log on through social media, play competition games, play in the casino (it depends on your luck), and enter competitions held by users or Emma. Credits, on the other hand, are bought with real money using credit/debit cards etc. and sometimes may be won in competitions. Credits are used for special features like buying some clothes and hiring a manager.

What is a manager?
A manager is like membership on VP. With a manager you can personalize your forum posts with a banner and have a background on your profile, own a record label, start polls, achieve the top 3 levels (world-famous, living legend, and queen/king of pop), earn 20% more fans, perform 6 times a day in a varied country instead of 3, double your daily earnings, and you get a unique star badge next to you name. Hiring a manager costs credits varying from 100-500 and you can have a manager for 1-6 months in one purchase.

What do the badges mean next to peoples' names?
There are many badges to get on VP. Not all can be earned by regular users. The green dot means online and red means offline. The star means you've hired a manager (see above). The NT badge means you are a part of the news team and you make the daily news. The PT badge means you are on the promotion team and you have gotten 10+ people to join through your voting link. The M badge means you are a moderator thus you help on the site and you distribute the rules. The D badge means you are a designer and you design some of the clothes on VP. The A badge, which is probably most important, is an administrator, an official employee of Viral Social Games. 

What are the levels of transportation and why do I need them?
There are 8 different levels of transportation; none (walking), bike, car, limo, helicopter, private jet, concorde, and blackbird jet in order from slowest to fastest. These give an advantage in tours and battles to help you get to the countries faster.

What are record labels and why should I join?
Record labels are a big part of VP. They can end up giving you double the fans with having you do up to two tours a day (one personal and one with the label). There are many labels which you can check out here. All labels offer something unique so you would have to find something good for you.
