Annoying train travelers!! (by Account deleted)

In my state, catching the train is a popular way to travel to work or school. Since my university is too far to drive, like many people, I catch the train. The first few times it isn't so bad but after 3 weeks of boarding the train, I've been filled with the need to express my shame and annoyance towards several travelers so instead of having a tantrum and screaming at everyone on carriage, I'm going to introduce you to the typical people I come across on an Australian train-line.

1) The My-Phone-Calls-Are-So-Extremely-Important businessman: This guy or girl will hop onto the train and whip out their iPhone and talk loudly and importantly to the person on the other line while irritating every other passenger in the carriage with their booming vocals and supreme attitude. Note: this will occur at any time, whether its an early morning train filled with people who are half asleep or a peak hour train where everyone is packed like sardines!

2) The Stinky Food Eater: This person really needs to understand that the rest of the carriage do not want to smell last nights leftovers, or a can of tuna. Yet, despite the glares and the hands grasping the nose, this person fails to notice that they are bothering everyone else on the train. I don't want to sit in a train filled with the smell of rotten egg and I doubt anyone else does. Worse though, is when Stinky Food eater eats so loudly that everyone else can hear every crunch, bite and swallow, along with the sound of saliva and food juices moving around as he chews.

3) The Unconservative Seat Hog: This darling will sit right at the edge of the seat, not allowing anyone else to get to the other seats, meaning that they will have to stand. Other times, they dedicate a whole seat to their handbag. You can look this person in the eye with a look that says "move the frick over" yet they won't. You can even ask if you can sit down but oh no, instead of moving over, Unconservative Seat Hog will make you awkwardly climb over their legs and bag to reach seat. Where is the common sense?

4) The Hyper School Girls:
Despite being at school for 6 hours, these girls somehow find a thousand new things to talk about. The problem? The Hyper School Girls will talk openly and loudly about ANYTHING. I have overheard conversations about things that I really don't care about such as the finer details of the double date last night, the lengthy story about the time one of the girls got lost and the troubles of high school math. Save the talking for a more private place because my eardrums might just explode with the sound of your shrieking laughter and the constant cries of "oh my god"

5) The Creepy Old Man Who Thinks You Care: Out of all of the empty seats on the train, this old man will plonk himself next you, lean in and fill your trip with pointless facts and remarks. Who likes a train ride with an old mans face close to yours, as he whispers to you and tells you how he killed his white cat last week? Yeah, point made. Oh, and how could I forget about the tobacco stained breath?

Anyway - post in the comments below if you have any public transport stories that you would like to share, or do you have something that people on trains/buses do that you just HATE!? Tell me below! Have a lovely weekend! xo
