Movie Recommendations (by Aisaenic )

TT^TT To tell the truth, this movie is a bit sad, yet a family movie, so you might need to get out a box of tissues before-hand. Although the sad parts come later in the movie, the desperation will have you on the edge of your seat, and before you know it, the emotional people out there will be tearing up. Although this movie incorporates a large science/math palette of words, I found it pretty easy to understand overall, but it gets pretty quiet at times, so I hope you have a good sound-system you can turn up O.O So the movie begins on a farm near Dust Bowl states, where food and vegetation is threatened by sandstorms, and natural occurrences. As it seem as if humankind is about to run out of resources and simply die off, this one man is forced to leave his family behind, in order to search for an extraterrestrial life form out there, in hopes of being able to salvage the human race. Coming face to face with the possibilities of interstellar travel, and the relationship between dimensions and differences in time, this movie not only pastes a sci-fi belief into the open-minded viewer's heart, but poses as a heart-warming story, of how family and promises will eventually overcome the distance. Of space and mankind.
Okay, so it was put off for longer after it's "supposed" release date TT^TT but still, exciting enough to attract viewers even after released on the 13th this month, right? O.O In the trailer, an adolescent boy is shown, in a typical car cop chase. Of course :/ After the boy is taken into custody, he's shown bailed out by a "mysterious"... Tailor? O.O What's even more curious is when, the boy is taken to a bar to discuss the situation, the man takes out a group of 5 BOYS. Wow. I mean, they ARE teens, but who ever expected the man to have skills at umbrella-welding, unnatural speed and reflexes, PLUS an umbrella with defense settings and stun cartridge? Almost like a spy...Interesting..... Apparently, in the past, the boy's father had saved the man's life. Through deductions, anyone can tell that by "saving his life," he quite literally meant in a physical kind of way, maybe from an assailant? O.O But who knows? :eyebrows: You'd have to watch it to find out. The boy is then launched into a deadly job interview, designed to kill off the most amateur volunteers, in order to pick out those most suitable to be part of this private defense force. Through several trials and through the most THRILLING action scenes, this movie will definitely tickle your inner ninja, and is throuroughly enjoyable to those with an agenda for "secret-agent type movies"
As some people might have seen the LUCY trailer, MOST people might think that the movie is quite scary, violent, and most definitely a sci-fi movie. The trailer shows a woman, which the watcher can most likely deduct is Lucy, waking up in a room, in a queer way. Awkward~ (if you're watching with a family member) The trailer then pans to scenes where Lucy is abducted by a group of men, and focusing on this main trailer, large packets of blue chemicals, almost salt-like, are panned in on, allowing the viewer to maybe deduct a bit more of the movie. Through ordeals and fights, scenes where Lucy is seen to control her own body matter, to control OTHER people's body matter, all states of consciousness, and MANY more different capabilities. Through the background, the viewer comes to know of the basics of how "a normal human uses only 10% of their cerebral cortex," and how Lucy has come to surpass that under the most alarming circumstances. As of now, the movie has been released 7 months as of this exact day, and it was certainty thrilling, looking past the uncertainty thrown by the trailer XD
OF COURSE O.O I don't know if many people here have watched it yet, but guessing from it's popularity, some of you might have already experienced this heart-warming movie XD Me? I've watched it three times already >_< So I'll try NOT spoiling it too much XD The movie revolves around the adventure of a boy, Hiro Hamata, as he escapes from a "man in a a kabuki mask" who attacked him using a telepathic transmitter controlling millions of micro/nano-bots. Believable for a movie, right? But not only is this movie humorous, yet fresh, as a family movie, and animated as a world that has crossed San Francisco and Tokyo into one city. Try as they might, the pair of unlikely heroes, Hiro and the "balloon man" Baymax must team up with a group of his late brother's friend, to find out exactly why his invention had become used for villainous purpose, and the mysterious circumstances surrounding his brother's death.
Ok. So although this article may be limited to my personal biased personality, I hope that at least some people would enjoy these movies, as I have done so in the past. Being taken with the general ages of the players on here, I assure you, these movies will be very much safe to watch, abet a few inappropriate remarks, or a bit of queasy violence and bloodshed. Sorry 'bout that :$ So although you might not see the MOST popular movies listed here, you just might like these movies, if you have the suited opinions, of course :eyebrows:
