Applications: Second Chance (by LoveIsALaserquest )

Hello again players of vp! It's been a while since we did the applications and we apologise for the amount of time that it has taken. A lot has gone on with the team with people leaving and the amount of people we need to add to the team changing and it was just all a little hectic. 
So because of this we have decided that we are going to do the applications again. If you applied last time then please don't worry, your application from last time can still be used, or if you wish, you can submit a different application. It is entirely up to you. 

So what does being a layouter or writer on vp actually mean? If you're a layouter then your job is to:
  • Work with a writer to create the layout for their article.
  • Make the layout for a writer every week(also being friendly really helps here, it's nicer to work with someone when they are friendly so that is a must)
  • Make any other layouts the team may need 
  • Contribute to forum discussions and offer any opinions on team ideas or problems
If you're a writer then your job is to:
  • Create an article on a weekly basis 
  • Contribute to forum discussions and offer any opinions on team ideas or problems
  • Work with a layouter to create a layout for your article
So how does the application and choosing process work? Well you fill in an application form that will be given below and then send it to The Paparazzi Crew account here. After you send in your application we will choose our favourites and then those favourites will be given a test. You will be expected to work as if you were on the team, creating and coming up with articles and concepts and working with the writers and making layouts. It will be like being a member of the team just not having your badge. From those who get into the second round we will then choose our favourites and then our favourites will become part of the team. 

So all you have to do now is fill in an application form and send it to the account that is linked above. You must have your application in by Saturday the 4th of July at 11pm Uk time. 

We will be taking on six new layouters and two new writers.

As of right now I don't know, we need time to discuss who will be going to the next round and that can take from a few days to possibly even more than a week. It's not the ideal situation but things got out of hand because a lot of people quit and because of that things changed and really we needed more applications to choose from. Your application still counts so all you have to do is wait. I know it's not ideal but it's not bullshit, we need to find the best members for the team and that takes time.

You don't need to know how to work with codes. Some of the layouters on the team currently upload their layouts to a certain site and the site provides the code for their layouts. However, its a plus if you know how to code. 

And if you'd like to apply, please do! We aren't yet certain when the second round of applications will take place, but I'm sure we can work something out with you if you make it to the next round. :)
