I've noticed there is an active role playing community on this site. And since I'm also an active role playing member [not on here though] I decided to make an article with plots. Because we all have our moments when we just don't know what to role play. None of these ideas are mine, however. I just went through plots and prompts and I've selected a few which seemed interesting to me.

Gang plot:

imagine the innocent girl lost on her way home and stumbling across a dark alley to see a ( attractive ) guy committing a murder. his first reaction is to kidnap her and take her back to his gang, and they have no clue what to do with her. but they start picking on her and the guy is just so pissed off that he eventually starts to defend her and she becomes a little helper for the gang

Full bus plot:

muse a is this cute shy little thing and one day they’re going to ride the bus home but it’s super full and only two seats are left, one next to some woman on her phone and one next to muse b who is really tough looking and has a ton of tattoos and basically scares the shit out of muse a so they go do sit with the woman and ask if that seat is taken and the woman goes off on them, and is just being really rude and muse b over hears and notices how cute muse a is blushing and has this really really strong urge to protect them and so they step in and tell the woman to calm the f down and offer muse a the seat next to them, and then they start talking and it’s great. (bonus points for next day on the bus all the seats are taken and muse b gets up and says they’ll sand and muse a is like fuck no i can’t let you do that and they get into a fight about it until muse b pulls muse a into their lap and says ‘compromise’)

Secret Relationship plot:

muse a isn’t exactly the most popular person around school. didn’t have many friends, stayed out of the limelight, never attended parties but instead stayed home watching netflix alongside their hot box of pizza. but muse b is the star player of the soccer team, everybody’s best friend, and always in the public eye. they were polar opposites. so who would have ever guessed that muse a and muse b were together behind closed doors. their relationship worked well, the two were a great pair. but as the secret relationship lingered on, muse a was starting to want more from muse b. a label on their relationship. (based on the tv show awkward.)

Deliquent and Outkast plot:

around town, everyone had a label. muse a was known as the outcast. sarcastic, witty, and abrasive. muse a chose their own path. very similar to muse b, the delinquent. intimidating, ill-tempered, and rumors flooding around them like crazy. one day, muse b was bragging about their capabilities of making absolutely anyone swoon. muse b’s friends challenged that statement, betting muse b that they were incapable of getting muse a to fall for them. muse b didn’t hesitate for a second. muse b persistently asked out muse a, although they had been rejected multiple times. while it started as a bet, muse b was slowly developing feelings for muse a. but what happens when muse b wins the bet and muse a discovers how their relationship really started? (based on the movies 10 things i hate about you and she’s all that.)

Childhood Friends plot:

ever since 7th grade, muse a and muse b had been inseparable. the two knew each other like the back of their hands. they saw each other run through petty middle school crushes, family hardships, and more. they argued, they laughed, they did absolutely anything and everything together. however, they were always just friends. freshman year of high school muse a had confessed the crush they developed on muse b. that confession changed their entire relationship. the summer into their sophomore year, muse b stopped talking to muse a. their friendship ended within a blink of an eye. they didn’t talk for years. until senior year, muse a got into a relationship. muse a’s significant other took them to a party where muse a would be introduced to a “very important person,” the best friend. muse a was nervous, hoping and praying for the approval. when they arrived, muse a was shocked to see that the infamous best friend was muse b. (based on shit that went down this one time.)

Some fun/silly totally realistic plots:

• I’m baking and I need some eggs so I thought I’d get them from my friends apartment but they’re not in and, uh, hey, this isn’t their apartment at all and I’m so sorry I’m stealing your eggs 
• You’re my new exchange student and I don’t think that you can speak that much English so I’m totally trying to explain things to you with a lot of hand gestures and dances and… Oh, you’re fluent? I totally knew that. 
• We follow each other on tumblr/instagram and you like all my posts and you’re here in real life and I totally didn’t recognise you and now you’re really offended
• I adopted this cat a while ago because it kept turning up at my house and demanding food and you just saw me stroking it and now you’re furious I stole your pet 
• I wasn’t paying attention when I was walking and I just bumped into you and now your cake is on the ground and I’m really, really sorry 
• You made a really specific amount of food for your class and I totally just ate some so now you’re two cupcakes down 
• My chocolate bar hasn’t fallen down from the vending machine and you’ve come along and shook it so that it does,and I am eternally in your debt because that was my last £1 
• I took the coffee that they handed me in Starbucks and it’s totally not mine and I am now on a mission to track down the owner of my coffee 
• You tried to compliment my shoes but I had headphones in so I didn’t hear you coming and, holy crap you scared the shit out of me  
• You’ve fallen asleep on the bus and I know this is your stop so I’m going to really awkwardly try to wake you up, and, hey, you weren’t asleep at all and now I look like an idiot 
• You waved at someone behind me but I don’t have my glasses on  and I thought you were someone I knew so I waved really enthusiastically back and now you’re looking at me like I’m a freak 

High School Sweethearts plot:

plot about muse a and muse b who were two high school sweethearts who had a really bad break-up but are always kind of on each other’s minds even as the years pass and then one day muse a moves into an apartment complex miles away from their hometown because of a job and their neighbor is constantly having sex and it’s just getting really annoying so one night they they go knock on the door to say ‘HEY CAN YOU STOP BANGING ALL THE TIME I’M TRYING TO SLEE–’ and then whoops it’s muse b. surprise!!

Prom Ditching plot:

I want a plot where Musa A ditches prom because it’s not really their thing, and they end up going to IHop at like 9 p.m. and as they’re eating, they notice that Muse B, who was a classmate that they never really talked to, has also decided to ditch prom for IHop, and then Musa A invites them to sit at their table, and idk, they end up talking for the first time about the school year and about graduating and their future, and basically end up getting to know each other and spend the night doing stuff like walking around town, sneaking into the zoo or like going to an arcade or playing laser tag while all dressed up and at the end, Muse A walks Muse B home (or Muse B walks Muse A home, whatever) and like idk what happens in the morning or the next day but asdfghjkl idk we’ll make it up as we go, but I need this

My Angel plot:

Muse A is an angel. Literally. Their job is to watch over and judge the people of Earth so when their life comes to an end they can relay their findings to [respective holy entity of choosing] for final judgement. No interaction, just watching. One day, they are tasked to watch over Muse B, who’s spirit and personality shines like a beacon to Muse A so that they eventually fall in love with them. On the day of their supposed death by accident, Muse A breaks the cardinal law of the angels and saves Muses B’s life, dooming themself to Earth as angels that break the laws of [respective holy entity of choosing] loose their wings and cannot return to [respective holy high ground of choosing]. Stuck in the human realm, Muse A must learn how to be and act human with Muse B’s help, who feels indebted to them for saving their life.

Gods and Monsters:

Muse A and B are both good, honest, righteous and respectable people. They have it all. Friends, family, wealth, good looks. They are good friends, and have been ever since childhood. But as they say, only the good die young, and the two friends died in their early twenties after a horrific car crash. When the two awoke, they were no longer on earth, nor were they anywhere they expected to be. They were in the Garden of Light, and under God’s protection. He admired the two for their nobility and other good traits they held. Muse A was happy to be here in the Garden of Light, though Muse B was not. Muse B did not like the idea of being in such a place, fearing it would be the only place they would be in for all eternity. After some time, Muse A came to see what Muse B had already known, that they did not have freedom. And after not too long, God even took away their freedom in the Garden of Light. They were always under watch, no privacy to them selves. This is when they began to turn against God, and through their hate towards him, they became corrupt. Their righteousness began to fade away, as did most of their good traits. And both fell into a horrible depression. Then the two made a pact. They decided to kill one another and end their misery. So they did. But they did not plan on being reincarnated. They came back to Earth, with all their memories of their past life and their time spent in the Garden of Light. And this time they lived their lives sinfully.
Twist 1- The muses are reincarnated in a completely different time period
Twist 2- The muses become satanic worshippers
Twist 3- Muse A remembers Muse B after the reincarnation but Muse B doesn’t remember Muse A
