Hello everyone! Hope you have been having a wonderful week on Virtual Popstar! Got a bunch of news just for you.

A dog's life!
Last friday in Dorney, Buckingham, a poor little pooch named Lulu - a jack Russell terrier - got trapped in a steel pipe under a car park. After reported by the poor owner five brave firefighters came to the rescue with spades, cutting equipment and a mini-digger at the ready. It was a hard job for the firemen - whom were very much in danger of being injured during the search - despite the danger this Tuesday  the sweet pup was saved and reunited with her owner. Soon after the unused pipe was closed off to prevent any more animals getting trapped.

Death Parties.
Marking the death of Baroness Maggie Thatcher, youths have gathered together forming 'death parties' erupting in violence around the UK. Hundreds took to the streets as 'Thatcher death parties' were held across the country. In Liverpool many were clearly happy with the death of Margaret Thatcher, as they took to the streets on Monday night, lighting flares and setting off fireworks outside Lime Street Station. In Bristol, six officers were injured - one seriously - when violence flared at a gathering to celebrate the death of Margaret Thatcher. Police wearing riot gear were called in as drunken crowds rejoiced, many of whom were too young to remember her as prime minister.

Next Thursday I (Zombiism) will be going down to Leicester to be interviewed for a place at De Montford University! After lots of hard work, I think I am ready; however I'm not done yet! Wish me luck at getting a placement this year. Its gonna be tough but I hope I will make it!

In other news, Virtual Popstar has another update of brand new clothes in the shops! Many were so excited to see the new outfits and pets but none more than sweet Murcielago who was seen dancing in the streets over her lovely Vocaloid - Matryoshka designs.



Many of Draizor007's lovely Pokemon collection were uploaded also yesterday in the shop, when asked about this sudden surge of Pokemon she replied "I've clogged the shop up ^^ I'm happy!"
Many users around VP were seen with these lovely new Pokemon, a few have expressed wishes to be able to wear more than one of them in their outfits, we will see!



Some of Shadowjess's ponies were also uploaded in the update; but that's not what has gotten people talking about her this week. The past two days user Shadowjess has been creating some wonderful new profile pages, as well as creating me a fabulous new Thursday News layout! So you can thank her for this beautiful new look.



Finally after the new update in the shop many users changed their outfits, I went over through the site in search of all the beautiful new looks. They have been featured at the side on the left!
