Summer DIY! (by Nova417 )

If you're looking through your summer wardrobe and thinking that you need some new, one-of-a kind clothing, then here's another quick DIY for you! Your very own galaxy print tee shirt! Tie-Dying shirts is still an awesome summer activity, but what about some intergalactic designs? All you need is the following:
★ Navy or Black tee shirt
    ★ Diluted Bleach/Thin Bleach
    ★ Metallic Fabric Paints
    ★ Paintbrush
    ★ Spray Bottle

1. Lay some newspaper or something over your workspace and place your tee shirt on top
2. Fill the spray bottle with some thin/diluted bleach and give the shirt a little spritz!
3. Clean the spray bottle and add 1 part of the metallic paint to 2 parts water, shake it up, and give the shirt some more spritzing!
4. Repeat this method if you're using multiple colours
5. With the paintbrush, add on some stars, cosmos, and anything else you want
6. Hang up to dry
7. To seal the paint, give it a thorough press with a hot iron once completely dry!

Ice cream is definitely a summer favourite. Everyone wants something cold on a hot summer's day, right? Well, this is a recipe combining two summer classics : Root Beer Floats and popsicles! This takes no time at all and there are very few supplies needed! All you need is :
    ☼ 3oz. Dixie Cups
    ☼ Root Beer Soda
    ☼ Popsicle Sticks
    ☼ Baking Sheet
    ☼ Vanilla Ice Cream

1.Make sure there is enough room in the freezer for the baking sheet to fit
2.Snip the top of the dixie cups off to make it easier to slide the popsicles out for later!
3.Fill the bottom ⅓ of the cup with vanilla ice cream
4.Pour root beer over the ice cream until the soda fills ⅔ of the cup
5.Place in the freezer for about two hours (or until the soda is close to frozen)
6.Carefully fill the last ⅓ of the cup with vanilla ice cream
7.Freeze again for 30 minutes, then carefully slide the popsicle sticks in the cup
8.Serve when the popsicles are completely frozen

You can also use other soda combinations as well for different flavours! Some other sodas to try : Dr. Pepper, Coca-Cola, and Cream Soda!
