Spirit Animals (by Private)

Spirit animals have become a trend lately so I thought it would be nice to talk about them. I’m sure most of us already know about them but here are some notable things about them along with some spirit animals!

To start, spirit animals are also referred to as totem animals, power animals, and animal guides. However, there is a difference between spirit animals and power animals. Spirit animals play the role of the protector and provide guidance. Therefore, they are guardians animals or spirit guides. Power animals unite with the person that “chose” them in a personal connection. So, the power or essence of the of the animal can be felt or even communicated. Despite this difference, power animals, in a sense, are like spirit animals.

Here are a couple of spirit animals along with their meanings:

Spirit Animal: Owl

Symbolism: Intuition, wisdom, and capacity to see what others cannot see

Spirit Animal: Fox

Symbolism: Affinity with nocturnal activities and dream work, see through deception, and being able to be swift in tricky situations

Spirit Animal: Polar Bear
Symbolism: Wisdom, compassion, and determination

Spirit Animal: Panther

Symbolism: Death and rebirth, star travel, and power

Spirit Animal: Spider

Symbolism: Patience, creativity, and weaver of life’s fate

Spirit Animal: Wolf

Symbolism: Sharp intelligence, freedom, and deep connection with instincts

Spirit Animal: Tiger

Symbolism: Willpower, personal strength and courage

Spirit Animal: Lion

Symbolism: Strength, personal struggle to deal with feelings, and assertiveness

Spirit Animal: Panda

Symbolism: Peace, positive outlook, and good luck
