The first month of 2022 has come to an end and it's been a rather calm start to the year. The major thing that happened on VP during January is that Shadowjess officially has stepped down as Admin and YSL and Cheergirl are now officially the new Admins on the English server. We are looking forward to seeing what the new Admin duo will bring to the server during the rest of the year, we also want to wish them the best of luck in their new role!
We also want to remember everyone that you can still apply to the NewsTeam via our open applications. We are primarily looking for more layouters at this point so if you are interested in graphic design then don’t hesitate to apply! You can find the application format here.
Auction
This month's auction was held on the 8th of January, and featured three different sets. Due to the lack of male sets, there was no set sold for credits. The female pd set featured three differently-coloured dresses and was designed by Marissa, while the green plant-themed male set was made by Aria. The female credit set was an Alice in Wonderland-inspired outfit designed by Nora.
MCW
This month's mega credit set week was held between the 3rd and 9th of January. This edition of MCW featured twelve sets for females, six of these being Winx-themed bonus sets designed by Solovey. The other sets were made by Evie, Misjel, Nora, Bones, and Solovey, and featured items in a range of different styles and colours, including wings, sweaters, and haute couture dresses. For males, there were two sets, the first being an outfit inspired by cartoon Arthur, designed by Encrede and Klavier, and the second a cozy outfit featuring a sweater, jackets, and scarves, made by Bones. If you were a fairy, how would your wings look? This is the question ET asked this month. To answer, people had to draw their imaginary fairy wings for a chance to win the prizes, which were fairy sets made by Talent.

January also saw the last installment in ET’s Squid Game competition series. This final round was a dressup in the theme of the Squid game participants’ final feast eleganza. The winners were awarded some stunning golden sets made by Allie. However, one person also won the grand prize pool of credits that had been accumulated through the rounds. The winners, including the grand prize winner, were announced in this forum. Big congrats to all the winners, and especially to NT’s own Atencia for winning the grand prize!

During the month that just passed, we had two fashion shop events: LE Sunday and the Lost Items of VP Shopdrop’. First up, this month’s LE Sunday took place on the 9th of January. This was Shadowjess’ last LE Sunday, and to mix things up a bit, this last round she decided to set up both credit and popdollar drops. As usual, these shop event days are made to drop older sets from the other servers that never made it in game on EN. In addition, there’s sometimes also a newer set or two, and this month did not disappoint! The drops included gorgeous sets from Wishbone, Autumn, Masilein and Solovey, to name a few - click here to see everything if you missed it.
The second shop event happened on Saturday the 15th, and was a one-off event we haven’t seen before. The ‘Lost Items of VP Shopdrop’, as the thread accompanying the drops was called, was essentially a day where items that either never were bought at their original release or have completely disappeared from game due to players deleting the item or their account, were rereleased at their original shop price. An exception to this, however, was the teapot dress, which was set to 100cr.
