Taking Time for YOU |
Hello! I know it can be hard to take time for yourself, but need too. Our brain needs a break every once in a while to function! So I'm here to give 5 helpful tips. 1: Find a single free day on your calender with no plans and use this day for just you. Preferably a day without work, school, or lots of chores. 2: Find what you see as fun. If you enjoy drawing, for example, take that day to sit back with a cup of coffee and draw 'till your heart's content. Just enjoy your hobby. 3: Remember why you need days for yourself. This is important. You have to remind yourself why you need these days. Maybe you need a break from work? A stressful relationship? School? 4: Find a certain time of day if you don't have a entire day free. Maybe you only have an hour, but don't neglect that- take it to your advantage. 5: Start a schedule. Say you work 5 days a week- take on day to do any paper work, chores, etc, and the other one for yourself and KEEP that schedule. I hope these tips helped you in some way.
