Here we have Mysius and his companion Xinduwain  Mysius is responsible for controlling the balance of power in his planet of Kridon. Xinduwain is an alien he encountered on his travels to another planet to obtain vital minerals for his people. Mysius risked his own life saving the alien after his planet was under wrath from the higher Gods, and as an act of gratitude helps Mysius with his travels. In their universe, the mortal creatures depend on their Gods and Goddesses to provide planetary elements which are their source of food, power, and materials to be crafted into clothing and shelter etc. Since their own planets do not provide enough of these elements on their own, it's up to the Gods to travel outside their planets to gather vital elements for their people. As many planets are competing for these elements, it can be pretty dangerous. so it's always better for a God to travel with another powerful being. There are even higher Gods and Goddesses called True Gods and Goddesses which lord over even the standards Gods like Mysius. If not enough elements are provided then the True Gods and Goddesses wreck havok upon the entire planet, such as what happened with Xinduwain's own people. Therefore the Gods and Goddesses are regarded as protectors and heros of their planet. Mysius has the ability to see glimpses of the future and has the power of fire. His many hands help him in close combat though he can only summon fire from one pair of hands. Xinduwain doesn't have any Godly powers but he can speak 23 different languages and is helpful when it comes to trading and bartering between beings from outside planets. His race also has the keenest eyesight in the galaxy so he often serves at a lookout for Mysius. His "blood" is actually made up of stardust and he seems to have a connection to the cosmos that not even most other aliens share. |
