π Travellers Rest, an innkeeper management RPG you need to discover |
Travelers Rest is an RPG in which you incarn an innkeeper. Your goal is to turn your run-down inn into a must-to-be place. Cook good meals, brew your own beer, cultivate your farm, set up your inn... there is a lot to do and you never get bored. Travelers Rest was released for Early Access on Steam on July 28. It's an independent game published by Metaboli (the company behind Gamesplanet). The pixel art design - which may not appeal to everyone - gives it a lot of charm. It's having some Stardew Valley vibes, the universe and the game mechanics being quite similar. A Complete Management Game The game is centered around several objectives: - Developing your reputation to unlock new features. You will need to keep your tavern clean and well-appointed while ensuring the satisfaction of your customers. - Preparing dishes and beers to serve customers. Several craft machines are available to allow you to carry out all your preparations. - Arranging the reception room to make it attractive. Set up your tables and decorate the place at your convenience. - Cultivating your farm to obtain raw materials (fruits, vegetables and grains). A vegetable place is available and you can buy seeds. As you evolve, you can craft new items, employ staff, improve your tavern or prepare orders. A skill tree allows you to unlock new recipes and crafting as you progress. A Promising Early-Access Game Since this is an early access, not all features are online yet. It seems that in the future it will be possible to explore the world and build relationships to obtain new ingredients and recipes. Certain aspects of the game are not yet very developed, I am thinking about crops. Everything grows in 3 days without needing special care. This may change with future updates. Getting started is easy. If you are used to this king of games , you will have no trouble understanding the game mechanics. Otherwise, a tutorial accompanies you in a easy-way. The game costs β¬ 13.99. If you like management games, don't hesitate to give it a try. |
